to op, i got my stinger sp800 battery hooked up just like you did urs, it will work fine like it is now but when u upgrade whenever to anything more than around 2000-3000w its best to do a ground from front battery to back battery and a ground from front alt bracket to battery neg also, im going to do one sometime just for the hell of it my stock alt is only 70amps or so and i try to do the best i can with it and residential and commercial wireing is different from car audio there grounds have to go to earth to complete the "circuit", but in car electrical the power acually flows from neg to pos rather than pos to neg, thats why they always say to keep grounds as short as possable heres a vid of what im talking about, a battery works both ways were home and commercial electricity works one way http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TriS8_X6cTc

how do u soilder just the end of the wire were the copper is? i want to do my 0guage like this so my amps set screws will have soemthing to bite down to instead of mash my wire n push some strands out ive seen someone do it befor n i think this is what OP is talking about also so how the hell do u soilder the ends of a wire kinda like tinning it like most factory speaker wires come like for home stereos n sutch?

i dont really kno how to use one of those yet, ive always done sealed boxs, would it be easier to use aero ports instead of a slot vent or will they be port turbulence with a tube port?

my truck moves a good amount of air and my box is sealed and a downfire at that, its fun when i smoke cigars n watch the smoke move around the window n blow in n out the window if ur 2 juggs pull off a hairtrick then anything can happin sealed boxs aint all that bad but depends alot on install, but yea ported boxs move alot more air unless its a hella multi sub setup i dnt kno about a hair trick with sealed, assmans van was sealed with all those 10's n he could hair trick a damn frog lol

i unno if other decks have this but if u got somethin like a sla like pioneer has for level adjustments for inputs keep it set to 0 i useto have mine turned up to +3 n it didn't like higher notes but ya change audio adjustments, take ur eq and set it to flat with no boosts on anything even turn teh loud off, and turn it up n see were it distorts at n then turn it down n adjust each freq level n see if it still distorts n work from there ied turn it up with the loud off and then with loud on n see what the diff is volume wise n work from there

maby the audio settings, i changed the ones on my pioneer n it went away, i got kicker ks 6&1/2 comp set wit the 1'' tweet and im runnin kicker ks 6&1/2 coax off a memphis pr150.2 n the tweets useto be harsh and the tweet bulb useto light up but i messed around wit settings n that changed maby ur headunit aint got enough power to run em what kinda deck did u have befor u got ur jvc? and what are the rear speakers?

ya i wanted to get into fire n rescue type field but i aint got my ged yet so they wont let me take it, im in good with local fd but i dnt think they will let me work wit em due to i aint took the class yet, i got enough emergency lights to be volunteer firefighter but aint licensed to be one anyways good luck with it

lol, i got a stock 70 amp alt with big 3 in 0guage, 0guage to back with second battery and a big front battery and my lights still dim a lil and im only runnin 1000w amp lol i guess my amp does more than 1000w then i got hids due to headlight dimming, now alls left is my dash lights n what knot i guess when i ever get to upgrade or my stock alt takes a shit im gunna get a big alt ive had hella light dimming and when i added a cap to it it stopped but how much caps are now a days its cheaper to get a secondary battery hope this helps

oh ya, he did a stinger 300amp alt for that car too, if u got stock alt that amp will hate you for some time lol, they do power and then some with good electrical

x2 im thinkin bout gettin some of them myself my buddy put one of those mk4ds in a caddy deville on 2 mtx 9500 15's n he had like 3 stinger sp800 batteries and it worked out fine just make sure u get a cross flow fan for urs if its not out in teh open, they tend to get warm but ya shurikens should be pritty good, i need to replace my stinger sp800 with somethin n im goin with them
