Idk. If those was the wires coming out of the amp. Then why when he connected the wires to the clamps the speakers not work till he messed with something out of sight??? Either way, cool and all. But, sure in hell not doing that with my amp. That has to be sending some sort of back feed to that amp.

couldnt agree with the c-fizz more... Yea. I knew someone would say something along this lines. Jl thinks with there technology they have is better then others. Suming up what they say at there product trainings. Like c-fizz said the do knows, know you can get the same to better product for half the cost. I think its funny how the training meetings go for Jl. I always have a good laugh at em.

I forgot about that bond stuff. Had a customer talking about it the other day too. Have to find somewhere that sells it now. Debating on that light. Think for the time being, I will use that silicone. Thanks for the info. Still after I do this I will get some seat foam that I have from a custom seat a friend did and put that on after the silicon dries.

Also you could google your car and type front end suspension. It could give ya the names of the parts. That will help ya with trying to get help. Make it easier when trying to get help.

I would say he didnt know what he was doing. It is a bad thing to weld something like that. Makes it more expensive most the time to properly fix it. I think your best bet is to talk to friends, family and call around to shops. Someone has to know someone or be willing to help ya out. I know how it feels to be low on money and things go wrong and no money to fix. To me it looks like it was poor install.

I put a new latch on for the trunk and the lid stop rattling. But now the other parts on the lid rattle. I will have to try that. I just dont want to use that spray on foam just incase I leave the brake light in and I have to change bulbs. I think I have some new foam left for when I helped a friend make custom seats. Could put it between the trunk lid supports and the back of the light/emblem. Should be able to squeeze it in there.

So I have an 2003 ford focus se. Now that black plastic piece with the ford logo in the middle and then the trunk lid brake light rattle. Is there a way to fix them from rattling with out using the foam stuff everyone keeps talking about? I was thinking on taking the brake light out and filling it in or findng a trunk lid that does now have that. Any suggestions on what I could do? Oh and the black emblem has blown off a few times now same thing with the focus emblem. The focus emblem is coming off here soon.

Yea. Jl Audio needs some sort of price drop. I know my boss was excited to become an dealer of JL audio. But, we do not sell there subs or amps. Just reg speakers. To expensive. And yea the brands I see a lot on here are cheaper and to me a lot better in its ways.

They say they are more expensive cause they are made in the usa. Except the w0v3 and 1 other sub. I just had a 4 hour jl audio meeting from jl. Just one of those brands that I thought would have someone on a site like this.

I see a lot of reps from a lot of different brands. But, JL Audio. Is there someone on here from JL audio???? I just had a 3 hour JL Audio meeting and the guys kept talking about how big they are but I hear nothing on here. My shop is a JL audio dealer And glad that we got them in almost a year ago.

I put an focus SVT H.O 220amp alt on my focus se and it ran a at normal temp. But then my car always ran cooler then normal before. This made it run where it should be running. But, about a month later I had to replace the water pump and not it is back to running back to colder then normal temps.

I just notice that. And then The other one says better then JL Audio. Funny.

The duel one is funny. I know someone with those and they do not pound. But, I like the idea about 2 of ya going there as 2 interested buyers and messing with him. Be an interesting to find out what he does. Hidden cam like thing.

I let a guy talk me into letting him make a brace for it. Said the svt focus alt fits then the brace to run 2 alts will fit. So he built it and I put it on and no matter what we did the belt kept slidding off. I cant find someone that can make a brace to put 2 alts on it. But, I get what ya saying. Ill just have to make sure that the xs power battery is a d class. Believe thats the one that is meant to be under the hood... Use to have the d3100. And after reading up on the product I am just going to get one of the amps and 2 t1 12" subs. Thanks.

Find a simular make/model of car and use that alt. I have an 2003 ford focus se. And I got a mechman 220amp alt that is meant for the focus svt. And it works. Same connections and all.

I still have my mechman 220amp alternator (2003 ford focus se with the mechman 220amp thats ment for a svt focus.) and stock battery. When I was in the hospital I had no choice but to sell the batteries and almost all of my equipment. I am getting xs power d3100 I think it is. One I had before I had to sell it.

I got ya. Forgot its a 1,600 max watt subs. and I have seen those amps do 3000 watts. Well, I could do the 2 amps and then 3 of the Power T1D212 subs. That should even it out. 2 ohms is what I will run them at.

I want to say around february 5th. I posted the sale of my system with no pics. I know that it was against the rules to post selling something with no pics. I was in and out of the hospital with major health problems. Heart problems for no one ask. And yes I am doing better. To the admin that sent me a message thanks for keeping that post alive. And to those that sent me messages on my equipment I was selling. Sorry I didnt get to you all. I had stuff posted on facebook, here and craigslist. So, I was busy with a lot of responses. Thanks for those that sent me messages with get well messages. All I have left is just my JVC radio, 4 gauge kicker wiring kit, 1 kenwood performance series 1,800 watt amp and the same kicker 12" dcvr subs. People offered me more then what I wanted for everything else I was selling. Now time to start rebuilding it back up. I am an installer at mickey shorr and we are a big rockford fosgate dealer. Thinking on 2 rockford fosgate t1 2ohm 12" subs. Heard they have a deeped bass then the t2's. I never heard the t2's. But, installed 4 t1's and that shit was nuts. So, people oppions on that and I am looking at 2 rockford fosgate 2,500 continuous power amps. Only reason I am thinkin rockford is cause I get them at cost not the price they sell at. So saving money is nice. But, if I can get a simular sub maybe soundstream and in 12" subs then I might take it. I have a guy I work with that builds custom boxes. So not worried there.

Like I have been saying I am here for help not to start crap. Been trying to avoid it. But seems I can't. And ALL I have got is wrong information and trouble starters. Thats fucked up.
