Use cardboard mock-ups for cutting trim panels, thats what Im in the process of doing right now. Check under your jeep and drill from below into your box and bolt bolt bolt. (assuming theres no wires going to be under your box and under the carpet.)

My wall was my first enclosure ever and I built it solo dolo. Not saying everything I did was right but it got decently loud but here's what I did. -I did a sketchup just as you did. -Measured tons and tons. Then redesigned sketchup accordingly. -I then laid it out in paint and positioned pieces that I needed onto a 4x8 sheet of mdf so i wouldn't waste much wood. -After all the wood was cut up I assembled it in my garage with no glue so I could predrill all the holes. Then attempted to take a door off my car to get it in...solo dolo (my back still hurts lol) -Disassembled then reassembled in the car using wood glue and L clamps to hold it together Here's a pic of tearing it out to give you an idea of what I did...this is not to be critiqued as it was my first box I've ever built and its ever changing...just tore out the foam tonight. This was 2 18's with a center port. My main weakness was bracing, so i can't stress enough on bracing.

37hz isn't super low but its pretty low, but then again my car peaks at 45hz so anything below 40 i consider pretty low lol.

First I just want to say that I don't see a problem with this plan of yours and that this is all just some food for thought. Only issue I can see with the current design is bracing, especially since you want it to play low. Since it is a daily vehicle why not make it symmetrical and put the port in the middle? This would help brace the top of the box. In either case I would use allthread or dowel rods to brace in between the subs. And brace the port.

Depends on the event. What kind of event? Meca, db drag, iasca? But since this is your first time you should be good to go, I highly doubt they'll turn you down for having tweeters in your doors lol. Good luck, hope you like it and continue to compete

Nice job on the tuning of that 6th order, appears to be very musical.

Really depends on the box. My flat wall would unload and not sound good with the doors open, but with this bandpass it doesn't come alive until the doors are open. It just really depends on a number of things.

As the title states I'm looking for an 18" basket that is not in use and has seen better days. It can be scuffed, scratched, cracked, rusted, or just plain ugly. Price: I'll pay shipping and a few bucks for your time. I also will put it to great use and it can start its life over as my podium.

If you have to lift it to put rims on it...yuck. I'd rather see major car mods and have big wheels tucking tires atleast, and layed out if possible.

Just get a refund. I'm not a big fan of the picasso line at all.

They should be fine IMO. The noise you're getting is being generated by the head unit, ground your rca's like I've shown in the picture and the noise should be completely gone (as long as your h/u has a good ground too).

keep both power & grounds on 1 side, rca's on the opposite side. you do not have to do this unless oyu have jank rcas. Is it a good idea? yes. is it absolutely needed? no. This is what I thought as well. I have shielded rca's which have a separate grounded shield around the outside of the inner wires. I have an electrical engineering buddy who says it will still cause noise even though I'm grounded. I still do run them on opposite sides for good practice, but to me a grounded shield should kill all electrical noise. why do you do this? To ground the rca's out. Pioneers have a pico fuse in them that pops and causes ground noise, so when I'm installing 6 channels of rca's for someone I don't want to have to pull out their head unit after installing it just because of ground noise. If you've ever put 6 good rca's on a head unit then tried to fit it in a dash you would completely understand why I do this.

Gotta love the good ole pioneer humm. I do this to every pioneer I install. Call it ghetto if you want but its inside the dash so i couldn't care less about how it looks, it simply works.

Ok so the ibm has two ram sticks in it, one is 256mb and the other isn't labeled. The processor is a pentium 4. There may be a hard drive in the computer still. These were a school districts laptops and they're in immaculate condition which leads me to believe they may have just formatted the hdd's rather than removed them as I originally thought.

Ok. Ill look when I get home. I have two of them as well.
