well got on craigslist looking for an amp and saw this guy post audiobahn a5000spl for 250. i was like dang lets see what can get for. end up getting it for 150 cash with 20 feet of wire. so do thank it was worth it lol. 150 bucks for 5k amp. from reading seen some guy clamp 3500plus out 1 at 1.2ohms on 12v system so hoping to get at least 3k out of it.

well got my amp its audiobahn 5000spl for 150 bucks works great. going to get some pics of the guts for everyone that never seen these amps there rack mount which is bad ass for clean builds.

well decided on 2 15s same design as i did my 147.7 @ 57 hrz but with dd3515 instead of american bass xd and will be better box and going to try find another car to do basic 1 and 2 in with the other dd3515. i thank can do great with 2 15s in basic trunk.

we ran pair strapped at 1 ohm on 2 extra battery and big 3 in a blazer for finals. they can handle with ease they dont even get warm running that. there built like tanks for an amp. the most i ever seen out one is 2500 watts ran at .25 ohms on burp with very small box rise. on average box rise at .66 ohms u would see 1800 plus.

there has been alot guys doing 150+ in our trunk class which is 2k rms clamped power. last year top 3 guys did it at finals and 1 guy that did 153 got his car jacked at finals so couldnt compete.

nope never sealed it cuz we dont run sealed so do test like that. usually doors ope 2 inch and depending on tunning the back door open just barely on low tunes gives me .2 dbs there. burp class is on passenger dash door open, closed or sealed whatever u like to get louder extreme is 12 inch out side passenger window level with bottom of window and middle too. kaos is new class they created. its 3 min average on center of windshield. its for people that daily setups and stuff.

why dont u get hold of toolmaker and get some 0 to 4 gauge inputs. u can get them on ebay to. no need to shave no need for 2 4 gauge. good luck good advice 0 gauge FTW

it is maroon so guess forum of red. it has blacked out windows and taillights. i run in midwest spl out springfield mo. i had thread post on my finals build while back. not to bust ur balls but why keep post cvx when clearly the q? was answer and what i was looking for. i am done cuz got what was looking for. here is my setup i had for finals and this is with good port 145.5 @ 55hrz 146.1 dbs @ 40 hrz 147.7dbs @ 57hrz all setups had no test on mic cuz didnt have one at time was shoot in dark. only thing i had was clamps

its dodge stratus and there been alot trunk break 150s can name about 6 in midwest spl that have done it under 2k power clamped and 1 has done 153. i have done 148 on 2k with not great sub or box at the time was thrown together. going to take my time and test on tl now that got one to get highest spl i can out my car its 1996 dodge stratus 4 door. as far as remark people making about dumb crap that was not answer my q? "what can the level 4 hand daily on clean power before blowing up?" 1 person answer correctly lol

1 Volt meter is placed on the speaker leads coming out of the amplifier. 1 Ammeter/Current meter is “clamped” around the (+)speaker lead coming out of the amplifier going to the subwoofers. Competitors are asked to have these wires accessible. The “peak hold” feature is selected on both meters. During the run, the meters will keep track of the peak voltage, amperage/current going to the subwoofer. thats how we do in midwest spl

box rise is ac/vc example. 55.3/11.2=4.9 om than minus what ur wired to say 2 ohms and 4.9-2=2.9 box rise than u have 2x box rise or reactive rise. it sound confusing but when person shows u its simple math. Example: (50AAC x 10VAC = 500 watts) VAC = AC Voltage AAC = AC Amperage

thanks thats what want to here. guess people didnt understand what was asking. burp and daily 2 different thing. i put 1k daily to my xd and not even sweet it and than got audio pipe and dirty power and coil gave out on one my music runs. it be clean power lol who wants dirty power to sub anyway.

big bang planet audio 2400d 230 shipped for refurbished off sonic web site can do .5 ohm all day and is built very good. i take one these over ap3k or any audiopipe for that madder. i had one and had bad experiences with it and it never gave me clean power. seem like when voltage dropped the dirtier it got. better off buy 2 1500 ap amps cuz the circuits in these are some what dumb. just from my box with low box rise at 1 ohm bridged i couldn't burp about 41 hrz or it go into protect cuz my box rise.

ok over power what subs? i never over powered a sub and this is burp which is way different from daily music. i just asking on average good power to run level 4s daily so i dont blow them thats all. i ran xd with 3 inch coil on 1200 watts daily and no smoke ran all year with them. i understand could be way off but anything an idea of what could do man. just asking q? no need get harsh about it.

ok new to dc didn't want to go threw threads hunting for something could just ask first is like to know specs on the 8 inch sub and what kind number they put up. second what can the level 4 hand daily on clean power before blowing up. I am building trunk to do 150 plus easy with 2 level 4s 15s. my best is 147.7 with 2 xd which roughly same as level 3. clamped power was 2010 watts and was on dash legal with door open. box was tuned to 45 hrz peaked at 57hrz. high but got the numbers. my second build decided to do 2 12 type x on audiopipe 3k. best was 146.1 at 40 hrz clamped 2260 watts out trunk still. was tuned low and it did very good job of flex. build was post on here back in sep. if anyone remembers. pretty sure everyone said wouldnt do what it did and was not impressive. lol i am now on team dc and like know few things about there sub thanks.

best be 6 inch round port areo pref. i had to type x in 4.7 cub box with custom made 6 inch areo did 145.7 on 1800 watts clamped at 41 hrz. look at the12volt.com thats where get all my box info for ports.
