Was it just wrapped, or did they have a computer/screens, etc. inside? -
What is this? A ninja pic to spark up discussion

I've been wanting to go to 10"s for a couple years, but can't bring myself to do it. If these go in 10's, that'll change! -
Nice find! edit: Hmm. Looks like I was beat to it.

You can lower the gain if you're concerned about putting too much power to it. I think most people will agree that it's better to have an amp that overpowers rather than underpowers; you can always turn it down. That allows you to upgrade the sub later on should you decide you want to. Though, based on the ratings (I don't know how accurate Audioque rates), the 1200 should also do pretty well if you want to save money.

Do they sell used DD-1's there, like the OP wanted (and got)?

You misread my comments. That's exactly what I said to do: give an ultimatum. -

Being professional and giving the person clear expectations and consequences is face-palm worthy? Explain. OP: I hope you end up getting in touch with the guy and get it taken care of. It's nice that you gave him a deal and shitty that he took advantage of it and is being flaky, causing you a headache. The way you presented this originally rubbed me the wrong way (because it seemed like you snapped at me after asking for advice), but maybe that's just misinterpretation over the internet - not a big deal. Good luck getting in contact with the guy and/or getting rid of the box. -

what the fuck do you think ive been doing? sitting around with my thumb up my ass?? professionalism went out the window a week ago.. i txt him EVERYDAY 2 or 3 times a day..and he continues to blow me off so i see it as your post was NOT needed Glad I'm not the one doing business with you. If you get cranky over a post online (one that wasn't even harsh, BTW) I can't imagine working with you in person. My point is that when dealing with someone that is a paying customer, you should be direct and concise. Give them a specific date and a specific outcome (and use spell-check). There's no need to burn potential bridges by acting aggressive, deal with the situation and move on. -

Telling someone that you're either going to "burn it or sell it to some1 else" is tactless. If you're doing a business deal with someone, be professional and just say that it's using a lot of your free space preventing you from making boxes for other people and you need it out of there by X date or they will forfeit the box. The person already paid you, so it's not an issue of them not having the money. -
If you're running off of one amp (or gain matching two) I don't believe you should worry about keeping them separate.
