I have my rockford fosgate T500-1bdcp wired to one ohm probably 700rms it had a 800w birthsheet but I dont have 14.4v. So that amp is hooked to 2 sundown E series 12's. I have kicker 12 gauge for the speaker wiring about 10ft total. Is this sufficient for the equipment I have?

I need to get a new battery very soon and, I need some help making a decision on which I should get. I have a 98 dodge 1500 ext cab, it's a 5.2 motor and recently the alternator went. At autozone I found it had 95A alternator. The 5.9 motor had a 135A alternator and same mounts so that is what is in there now. I did big 3 in 4 gauge rf wire added a frame, engine, and body ground. I have a rockford T500-1bdcp 800wrms @ 1 ohm 2 sundown E12 4cf net box 35hz. This truck is my daily driver, 15 minute to work so it may not charge a lot I want to add a T400-4 next so, with this equipment what model is sufficient?

Man I just got my box built over the weekend! I bought the two E12's d4 @ one ohm on rfT500bdcp its about 750wrms. These things pound for hours man I haven't stopped listening except to work haha. They want more power for sure probably t1000 power. The box is 4cf 35hz, big thanks to joeX.. they fucking slammm for 110$ a piece nothing new was better. SA is probably better can handle more get a bit louder I'm sure but they need more and r more $ so hey its up to you. I can't vouch for reliability yet but I will say I have NO doubts..

Pm 412 cvx he designed me a sixth order and it was sweet man. I'm just afraid to try it and b a waste of wood because I haven't built but one box so experience plays a big role. Another thing I learned is that its easier to blow your speaker because its enclosed and from what I've been told its harder to hear distortion or bottoming. I'm going to build a simple slot port, thanks to mr. joex!!

I have to say that I can't hear a big difference between subs up port up and subs up port to the side, but the biggest difference for me is with port up you can go all the way wide and not worry about blocking the port. Thinking about it now, I feel like subs up port up being right behind my ear made it a little muddy or loose sounding on faster beats...maybe just my crap enclosure though.

I went to audio werks formerly audio advantage in cincinnati oh to get my gain set and they didn't know about the dd 1 and I tried to explain it a little and they practically laughed me out of the store lol the owner said steve wouldn't use it in his own shit upon other crap..i just felt like alright man think whatever. I left without them setting my shit too so :/ Found a 50hz track on decaf Flat eq flat peq volume 40/50 28vac T500-1 @ 1 ohm Anyone close with a dd1 ?

I tried to invert them but it was a failed attempt because without some kind of adapter ring I was worried about the surround brushing the edge of the cut out. Another thing is the mounting flange on the woofer isn't symmetrical so it favors being mounted traditionally unless I make that adapter price I thought up...regardless this box has gtg anyway so idgaf lol Thanks all!

Im going to take it easy on them hopefully two weeks I can build that side firing ported box that joex suggested 4 me!!! I was thinking crazy T lines....6th order. Probably way out of my skills lol. Want to upload pics..embarrassed of that crappy carpeted box tho :/ Couldn't get help at the local shop setting gain so i found a 40hz -6db track and set voltage to about 28vac flat eq no peq my voltage dropped to 12.8 :/ don't think I'm getting 800 "birthed" watts but thats ok the new box will probably make a difference.

Well they are here and are massive for 110$ each! They play with a deeper tone for sure. My box blows for these woofers I know its wayy offf its not loud enough but it does sounds good.

What would you say about doing a simple T line enclosure for the 2 twelves. could that be done in my allowed space and would it best a slot port design? That sixth order seems intimidating still even after I spent hours researching.

I have two E12 on their way!! I want to mount them inverted...anyone know if their mounting flange will work like that? Any advice on inverting them? should sound and look awesome

Ok sixth order..best of both worlds lower and higher tunings right? They must be efficient too right? That thing looks pretty big and those r eights. Would one for my twelves be ALOT of MDF or what lol

Ok I will research them sixth order designs. What kind of ported design might sound better? port up sub up or port side sub up/forward? And should I build larger considering my power level? These E series woofer seem very power hungry but r recommend tune 35hz 2.0ft at most? Any recommend for me i just don't wanna try a sixth and f it up.

Max Dims in 98 Dodge ram 1500 5.2 ext cab seats removed. 50 wide 21 deep 30 tall. could go taller but want to see out back lol. so 5 cubes for is too big for these bad boys? ive seen posts on here about using a bigger box to get more output with less wattage and my t500 would be considered just that i have a feeling these E series are going to laugh at 800 watts lol

will playing high 20s with a 35 tune damage them also idk what it is with me and low notes like 28 n stuff its just ive never felt or heard them notes like they should be in a proper setup and idk im not loaded or anything as yu can see by my gear, are those notes all their made out to be or what? R they all that audible anyway?
