  1. What's up guys? I've been wondering, would it do me any good to just sound deaden my 4 doors and the back hatch? Right now I feel like my tahoe is falling apart with the vibration so I want some deadening asap. But my box is over 400 lbs and I don't really want to take everything out to sound deaden the roof. So my question is, will it even help me to just sound deaden all the doors on the tahoe? And db wise, how much will it help if i deaden everything?
  2. Never had experience with that amp in particular but like bassick said, Arc is a damn good company. And they have great customer service. I have owned multiple arc amps for SQ setups and the sound quality is top of the line.
  3. look at my signature. I drop down to maybe 13 volts at full tilt.
  4. lmao! I'll look for a ninja but idk if I'll be successful. But I'm a fluffy guy most likely wearing jordan so if I ask for a demo you guys should give me one. lol
  5. Hey could I get my name changed to BanginHoe92? I logged in with facebook too lol. Thanks!
  6. awesome I'll look for you guys. as far as my box goes, it is 26" tall. But less than 13" from the roof I believe. I know I won't win but I want to see what numbers I can hit. I'm in a tan tahoe on 24's. same as my pic lol.
  7. yes three wires from front to back batteries. you would need around 150 feet I'd say. This is a lot of money and equipment for a first time build. You will need dual alternators as well. are you building the box yourself?
  8. battery wise, throw an xs d3400 under the hood and 4 d3100's in the back. i would run knukonceptz 0 gauge all the way around. I would do 3 runs to the back. singer and mechman are the alternators of choice.
  9. Awesome. What do you guys drive so I'll try to find you?
  10. http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/130243-2012-slamology-pre-registration-is-open/page__fromsearch__1 Didn't even realize that was there lol. But awesome, see all you guys there! Can anyone help me with which class I need to compete in?
  11. awesome man I will for sure try to find you.
  12. What's up everybody? Just wonderin who all is gonna be out at slamology this year. Luckily i only live a half hour away so I'll be there for sure. Was hoping to see a lot of you out there to get some demos. Also I want to enter my hoe just for shits and giggles so which class would i be in? I have 2 18s on 3900 watts with just one amp and 2 batteries. Hope to see you guys there!
  13. as far as the big 3 goes, everything is in order. The wiring isn't what I'm worried about. I was just making sure it's normal to drop that kind of voltage at idle.
  14. haha yes i do.. and thats only on 1 bc3500 nice man! Not to thread jack but where are you at in indiana? ill be down in indy for slamology fathers day weekend I'm near muncie. never been to slamology. I'll definitely have to go check it out
  15. ok, thanks for the help everyone. I knew they put out less power at idle but never thought of it.
  16. What's up guys? Got a quick question. I have a mechman 270 amp alt in my tahoe and a d3400 under the hood. I also have the big 3 and 2 runs of wire to the second battery in the back. All the wiring is knukonceptz. I'm only running 3875 watts and I'm still getting voltage drop bad at idle. Any suggestions as to why this would be happening? I'm honestly not sure if the voltage drops while driving because I haven't looked yet. I just got my digital volt meter in so I'll hook it up asap. Thanks!
  17. ok, and i have no experience with 6th orders so that would be difficult. I am most likely just gonna build a wall behind my second row. My box is already done so now I just need to figure out how I'm gonna seal it off.
  18. tuning in to this one. I was wandering the exact same thing. How much of a difference would there be going from a standard wall to a 6th order? Is it a big enough difference to have to rebuild my box?
  19. If you insist on getting an alternator, I love my mechman. It does it's job great. But like previous posts, it really isn't necessary.
