my vehicle is currently a saturn ion 3, the problem i have is the battery is in the back under the spare tire how the heck would i do a big three with the alt so far away from the battery

i think we already went over this.... I agree with this dude, he seems to know what he's talking about. I've said this time and time again, IF you can get Dynamat at a reasonable price, it's a perfectly fine product. It's the "industry standard" for a reason... it works and works well. Performance wise our Damplifier (not Pro version) ranks right up there with it all while being lighter weight and thinner. A few shopping tips. - Look for products that are 100% butyl. If it says "rubberized compound" or anything like that, don't buy it. - Look for products with a substantial constraining layer, i.e. foil. This has a lot to do with the performance of the product. 4 mil foil is fairly standard. thank you very much that actually helps alot. didnt know i shouldnt get rubberized compound materials! again sorry for VS thread didnt relize thats what it was going to be until i posted it haha.

ok ill help ya out... sundown is great for tight spaces and budget DD is pricey and need ALOT of room...dc the same just a bit cheaper just need some more room then you might have available you should always take a look at http://www.sonicelectronix.com they have great deals on shallow mounts if you want to go that way.. just keep looking youll find something

yeah i mean not to be rude you should have an idea of what you want, your budget, trunk size limits, power limits etc etc etc... iv asked to compare subs but asking someone what subs to choose is like asking someone which is better, drinking beer or lite beer its all personal opinion in the car audio game

Central, Southern, and Eastern Wichita is pretty bad in terms of Meth. It gets even worse in some of the smaller towns on the outskirts such as Peabody, Lyons, etc... My buddy lived next door to a narcoleptic Meth dealer. When I said lived, I meant my buddy still lives there. The dealer's narcolepsy kicked in at the worst time and a couple guys walked in and unloaded a .357 in the dude's face, looted his whole house, and took off. holy shit im not too far from witchita you also gotta remember southeast around ft scott and pittsburg thats really bad too

haha so far they are very closly tied like so close its not funny i just might have to get both sets and put one of them in my ion and the other in my dads maxima and just drive both lol

the DCs lvl 4 with cf caps are some crazy # close to the DD ea shipped and 3512s from my shop are 380 haha so its 25$ which is minuscule

i think i just shit my pants... was not expecting that when i came here

oh yeah my boy has 3 2512s runnin 7.5k and boy it hurts to even think about it. i just might buy them from the shop here and build the box or get some help then have them do the install cuz i need to do a big 3 and a new battery for sure i dont feel comfortable yet to do all that myself (still an install noob) =P

thanks alot man the input very much appreciated iv been turned onto DC by 412 cvx so im looking into the lvl 4s and the 3512s very deeply only thing that will keep me with the DD right now is that they have a rep literally 5 min from my house and there is no DC rep in my state so these are the only issues im seeing right now but thank you alot don't let a rep turn you off of 1 company or another. DC and DD both have great customer service over the phone (at least form my experiences) and yuo can easily order from if you don't have a dealer in your area. But since I run DD you know my vote. But you'll love the DC as well. In th end what do you want your sub to look like? cause both will bang. haha thats a very good point do i want 2 D's or a d and a c lmao but thanks man its a waiting game now plus gotta scrape together my final budget
