    Brainfart. What type of solder is supposed to be used for wiring? Is it 60/40 tin/lead or 60/40 lead/tin? Rosin core of couse

      Either is fine

      I like to use 50/50 solid core and apply my own flux separately. Seems like it turns out better, but that's just my preference

      Thanks, I didn't know if there was a huge difference in the ratio or not. I'll still get rosin core and use some flux for double protection. ha
