what's your setup like? for 2000watts, i would buy the group 31 sized batteries but since you have a civic, you might have to relocate it or remove some shit under the hood.

28 is pretty low. 32 is common around here but i prefer higher tuned boxes.

i think any 2 12s are capable of hitting at least the low 40s, let alone CVR. not saying they are the loudest but they are decently loud. so 2 12s at mid 40 is not surprising. he probably did his homework and maybe exagerated a few tenths but a 46 is good. now only if he can post some pics up of his setup. how many term labs are there??

if you're looking for all the juices from the battery to the amps, dont fuse. i dont compete, so i fused from my battery to the amps. i didnt fuse from alternator to battery. make sure it's a tight connection and do it right. dont go cheap on terminals either.

sorry my comprehension is bad but you're saying that an upgraded charging system consists of batteries, correct? and more batteries will give the amps enough power? i agree and i see what you're saying but my point was that you dont really need to upgrade your alternator just for drag because theres no use for it when you burp with the car off. sure i see the point of having it when getting the batterie(s) ready, but i thought charging a battery was a matter of milliseconds, and i had time to charge my battery before getting in the lane.

yeah a box change will change your resonance frequency. sounds like you double everything and theoretically you should gain up to 3dbs but unfortunately not everyone is guaranteed that:( charging system aint gonna do you much if you're gonna drag.

oh i bet you if you got some nice battery terminals, it probably lessen the dims by a lot. i forgot about this but this was by far a huge improvement in my car.

hes pulling almost if not more than 2k rms. thats definitely enough to cause dimming. granted. i was running right over 1600rms with no eletrical upgrade other than big 3 and a yellowtop but yet no dimming on maybe 2-3 songs of a 90amp alt. on the other hand, the OP has a 200amp alternator. kinda hard to believe you can have some dimming. i would thought slight dimmage at most, assuming he's got rpms up.

he's proved it where it counted, in the lanes. but if someone can make a 10 do a 150, wouldnt it be a matter of scaling to make a 15 hit 53s? i mean you know what type of box works the best and a fq to shoot for.

yeah i hear this a lot about one sub dieing out but how does something like that just happens? besides manu defects? The subs have their own individual airspace in 2 chambers, no working off each other. plus if you're playin loud and one sub cuts out, the other one doesnt suddenly see twice the airspace and start bottoming out.

sand your grounds down to bare metal, use the biggest fuse for that wire you can afford, but check your gains and set it properly. that is not a lot of power really to be dimming. i assume all your power wires are 4 gauge to the amps?

asking for $185 + shipping. i got it, and it powers up at 1-4ohms. the problem is that it gives out clipped signals or what seems to appear to messed up a coil on my hd3. never went into protect mode at any ohms. ill post of pictures tonight. real bargain here if you know how to fix amps. ill take internals too upon request. thanks for looking. got plenty of refs. just ask. :detective2:

you should carry the 2500s in your store as well as the higher ones. the 2500s are affordable and they can take some serious beating.

big 3, a kinetik 2400 in the back, and 2 runs should be fine.
