  1. The meter reads OL. There is an open in the coil on one side of the sub. The other coil reads fine at 1ohm. So would loosing a coil cause this to happen? Yeah means you have a break in the wire somewhere.
  2. Yeah seems to be a rash of holes in subs lately.
  3. Damn i had a ford probe exactly like that in the mid 90's lol. Is it like a 94.
  4. Did you sand up to like 2000 grit before cutting and buffing? And did you apply carnuba wax to it at the end?

  6. Unfortunately you probably wont find most brands in stores near you. So its easier and cheaper to just research reviews and buy online, then live with the consequences lol.
  7. Totally agree with sierra on that one, put the lead acid in the engine compartment.
  8. I bought 2 sets of dls r6 componets, they are good speakers and priced reasonably. I think 175 per set. I would definitely pick up a small amp for the mids and highs, componets sets usually come with a passive crossover so they are easy and no real need to go active. Plus 1600 watts of bass will overpower all of your highs without a small amp for them.
  9. They mod the shit out of amps on diyaudio, but Its pretty advanced stuff i think.
  10. I didnt see it mentioned yet but have you done the big3 upgrade?. Also definitely get a 2nd battery.

  13. Is there a belt dressing for serpentine belts to increase the stickyness of the belt?
  14. The sears diehard platinum agm has a 4 year free replacement warranty which is nice. If I were on a budget I would consider that. http://www.sears.com/shc/s/p_10153_12605_02850034000P
  15. I would think any alternator made in the usa is a good choice.
  16. I dont think brand of fuses makes any difference at all. The only thing that matters is the rating.
  17. Wow if just playing them really did do this that sucks. Those cones blew out like they were made out of rice paper.
  18. Now you are going to have to use some thinner to remove all the marker on the magnet.
  19. That is pretty awesome man, I thought about doing something similar to that, but decided instead to get some bling. Plus I already paid lol. But for someone on a budget, thats the perfect option.
  20. You could always just take it to a detailer and have them buff it for you if you dont have the equipment or experience in buffing paint.
