  1. no bracing at all??? I'm sure you are going to need some pretty good bracing or that whole wall is going to flex like crazy
  2. i used super glue and it works fine
  3. kicker does not have a patent on the shape of a square
  4. If you know shops than most of them charge out the ass for "custom built enclosures". Hell the shop in my town charges like 400 bucks for a "custom" ported box for a couple 12s and all they do is just look off the "recommended" ported sizes which usually suck balls
  5. is the power wire heating up??? seems like there is a lot of resistance at the fuse holders and battery terminal...heat is simply caused by resistance
  6. Not looking for 10's...thanks though
  7. Hey guys...I need a few blown type r 12s. I know there are people here with them laying around.
  8. pete does designs by himself...there is no middle man or any other business he does them for. You get the design straight from the man...he wants to have the best enclosure design service with the best customer service...he has his cell phone number on his forum
  9. Are you wanting a t-line for the flat response, low end extension, and superfast transient response or are you trying to get loud?? I can do it for you but I'm not sure if an unstuffed t-line will fit in a trunk
  10. A t-line for a 15 is possible if you stuff it. With 0.5lb/ft^3 of polyfill a 25Hz 1/4 wave tuning is only 49" I designed a 25Hz tapered T-Line that is 3 cubic feet externally. So I'm sure a 15 can get in there.
  11. lol no similarity at all. So a person with a Tahoe can't put in a nice system without it being compared to Steve??
  12. whats the moving mass on that sub?? 20lbs??
  13. Actually its because retards tell them that sealed = sq and ported = loud Probably best buy and circuit city "installers
  14. Properly designed ported system can be just as transient but generally speaking yes you are correct
  15. Port can sound just as good if not better if designed and built correctly. You can get just as loud and sound good with half the woofers and half the power..half the money. Less strain on the electrical. Less money spent overall for the same output and sound
  16. why do people always think sealed = sound quality and ported = loud bass. its all about the design and install...I'd go ported for sound quality and overall loud bass
  17. I missed out on the eD sale. I need some 0 gauge. any offers??
  18. holy shit is that a huge carp or what?? redfish maybe?
  19. resin will help a little...doesn't really matter though i wouldn't waste it for a box this small
