  1. lookin good bro. you got some work to do tho.. need that 150+ before sbnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnn
  2. box rise does have an effect on music... but you can't rely on it all the time. your electrical should certainly support it.
  3. so negative! lol just though of a question i have a question for the people that are gaining. are you using the -5db tone then burping with a 0db tone? i gained 2 tenths, using a -5db tone but burping with the official db drag cd, so likely a 0db tone. Although i found with my pioneer deck i can take the sub out to 0 and have no distortion on a 0db tone, go to +5 on a -5db and +10 on a -10 tone, with both sub and highs amps. i'll have to try with the sub out at 0 vs @ +5 like i have it for daily tonight.
  4. i've got a 2nd solo-x 18 motor and a pair of t3 tsns 15 baskets(10.25" spider landing) i can sell as well it will take some work but build these right BUT they have SERIOUS potential. These solo-x motors are stronger than ia wardens
  5. checked to make sure you don't have a sub/coil wired backwards/out of phase? that port firing through a ski hole or something?
  6. your help was worthless... unfortunately your telling him to put bends in an aero port...which completely defies the purpose of them. sometimes other constraints have to be considered... he just cant fit the depth of 3 ports or 2 in a smaller box for that matter. xplods aren't powerfully motored or high linearity woofers anyway...so they'll do fine with lower port area. vas i'm sure isn't small as their meant to be efficient due to clientele, therfor they need a larger box. 4 cubes would be a good target.
  7. i know who you are, lol. going with something with a little more room eh?
  8. gotta love the splmax cup race.. definitely anybodies right now. Were destroying each other out east. Like at defiance i did 9 perfect 139.9 runs in a row and still took 4th... because i red-light.
  9. the front battery will kill the resting voltage of the kintiks... which will technically take power away from them. you should go back w/ 1 kinketik and see what kinda cca it does.
  10. Props to EVERYONE competing in the 139.9 bassrace class at slamology. It was probably some of the best bassrace competition i've ever seen. Thats what i love and so does the crowd. See you guys in defiance, oh
  11. all depends on how you set the box up...
  12. a new vid for you guys. ssaudio has a couple on his cam too that i'm sure he'll post when he gets a chance.
  13. it's built to be loud, not pretty. People want to see what there getting beat, especially when they hear its only 2 15's off 4kw. Nobody has said anything about it being ugly I will clean it up eventually. I'm not happy with how it looks either, but thats not the priority right now.
  14. well, this box actually is tuned so low its pulled my peak frequency down from 49 to 47. Both of my previous setups were tuned mroe for a flat response, one being sealed, one being ported and both peaked at 49hz. so i'm thinking my tuning its fighting the trucks resonant frequency. it'll probably take me 45 minutes each tuning change... but i definately don't want to be stuck being down a whole db and having no back up ports. indeed, on both accounts.
  15. Gettin rep on the one forum i don't go on. I didn't even know i had a user name here... Had it for over a year and a half and this is my first post lol.. I suppose i'll give you guys a little info about the setup. It consists a pioneer 880prs h/u, 2 tc-sounds/audiopulse 5200 15's(famed 4hp's), 2 powermaster d3100 in the back, and an autotek mm4000. truck does a 152.2 currently @ 47hz legal... Box is 5.3 cubes per side w/ 6 4" aero's . Currently its tuned to 43hz. going to bump it up to 46hz tuning tomorrow... see what it has in it then. I'm hoping to break a 154 before i up the power. These subs are LAUGHING at my mm4000(<5mm one way) so i expect to see a large gain from upping the power. and its all below the window line and with back seats in tact
