  2. Idk if you want to stay with selenium or not but you can check out the "eminator" series from eminence. Their closely matched with the seleniums and I believe their a bit cheaper too
  3. if anyone else has some suggestions let me know. looking to start sometime later this month or early august
  4. MAN !!! What an Awesome Event !!! Thank your Sir for the Linear / Blues Shout outs !!! We work hard to bring these rides to these events, Hope you guys enjoyed them ... Oh ... I forgot !!! The section you see in this vid with my doors playing ... My Subs were OFF !!! The component set alone was playing fullrange ... They sound really crisp and they were playing really even and eqaully around!
  5. Would I just be better off looking for a 2 ohm drivers?
  6. I could wire the back stage to 2 ohms but how the hell would i wire the fronts? Seems impossible
  7. Your running 150 to the Cadences? And I've just got 4 cadences 2 in the front stage 2 in the back im not running tweeters or crossovers on them so i dont think im getting optimum operation with them No Sir ... I'm running 150 watts plus (each) to a pair of 6.5" Blues Car Audio Drivers ... I will be soon upgrading that to 250 watts per channel ... And what are those rated?
  8. They don't seem to bad but their rated 60 watt rms, thats what my cadences are rated right now
  9. Your running 150 to the Cadences? And I've just got 4 cadences 2 in the front stage 2 in the back im not running tweeters or crossovers on them so i dont think im getting optimum operation with them
  10. They were amped @ 75 watts rms x 4
  11. I'm looking to upgrade my front 6.5 stage with something else. I am currently running Cadence 4 ohm 60 watt 6.5s. I'm looking for more power than that, atleast 75 watts rms per or more. They'll either be running off a Hifonics 500.2 or a Hifonics 600.4 I haven't made up my mind just yet on the amp to use. My budget is maxed at about 100 per set. The subs are just 2 10" Skar IVXs.
  12. I'm pretty sure parts-express has them in chrome and black as well
  13. I had the same problem a week ago. Pretty sure one of my rear connections was loose and it took out all the components with it. Just double check your leads and connections to the amp
  14. Isnt this why we disconnect the battery when wiring things?
  15. thanks for those inputs, is this better?
  16. I'd like to set the port in the middle of the subs with 45s internal, how many common walls would that be?
  17. New subs got shipped today!

  18. Personally I use 2 1/2 inch sheet rock screws but, I make sure I never drill my sub into the box
  19. I'll be running two Skar IVX 10's, they will be running off a hifonics 600.4 for the time being until I upgrade amplifiers. Anyway the suggested tuning is 35 hz but I think this might work. Only issue I think I have is the port area seems small to me, is it?
  20. orted @ 35 HZ: 3.5 ft^3 Displacement: 0.15 ft^3 Depth: 6.25" Outside Diameter: 15.125" Cutout: 13.875" Heres some pics and measurements sorry their not that good and hard to visualize Measurements of trunk Trunk opening: 39 1/2 " Backseat to end of trunk: 40" Floor from brake light to brake light: 46" The inner trunk to floor is 21" The side of the trunk to floor is 19" The trunk bars are both 18" 10" back seat opening along floor 33" along the floor of the rear seats 39" from left wheel well to right wheel well I'm looking for a bit of a different design.. I'd either like to kind of center the sub OR some aero ports through the backseat opening or the back seat cupholder fold out. Pretty sure I have enough measurements posted already but if i dont please let me know. Skar suggests a 35 hz tuning for a ported enclosure but I know the design im looking for will affect the tuning. The subwoofers going to be ran off a hifonics zeus 500.2. I dont have a preference about subs or aeros facing up or forward. Just either really would like the sub in the opening in the pic below or the aero ports through the cupholder slot. Anyone who might wanna take a shot at a design would be great I can't really work with sketchup to well. Thanks for any input.
