  3. I sent him a pm yesterday with the info. No response yet.
  4. I have a brand new Phoenix Gold TLD22 for $50 shipped.
  5. Do you have a digital multimeter so you can check the voltage on the power and remote wire? Did you check your ground?
  6. air movement = low bass loudness = higher freqencies firing it forward will dramatically hurt your low bass also. I think you would be better off rear firing and tuning around 37.
  7. tuning frequency doesnt really mean much unless you tell us what vehicle it will be in and sub position.
  8. Do 4 15's. Do you want SPL on a meter or daily music? ...dont say "both".
  9. 30 is too low if you want loud also.
  10. lol...i think that should be my new signature line. thanks!
  11. By going 44 wide it just looks like a generic prefab thrown in the back. By "squeezing" it in and making it the correct width it will look like a custom box that was actually made for your vehicle. yes...but not anytime soon.
  12. You should be able to go 48 wide in a Navigator. 48 X 19T X 20D 17.5T X 5.0W X 16.0L
  13. lol...yeah i was starting to think everyone forgot about me.
  14. Nice! I do 3 or 4 05+ Super Duties every week. Luckily you dont have the rear power slider. If you end up keeping this truck longer, i would go down to 2 of the Pioneer 12's ported.
  15. That just means never have more port area than cone area. Example: If you have 1000 square inches of cone area then dont go over 900 square inches of port area. If you have (4 round 15's) 706.5 square inches of cone area then dont have more than 635.85 square inches of port area. [RANT]I think most of these "theories" and "general rule of thumbs" are BS anyway. Most of them encourage you to either make the box too big, have too much port area, or tune it too low. When you build an average of 40 to 50 ported boxes per month for 5 or 6 years straight you get a pretty good idea of what works the best and what is just impractical.[/RANT]
  16. what kind of music do you listen to mostly?
  17. If you really didnt have room for a port, i would give up a sub to make room for a port. ......But you have plenty of room in that truck for your 2 15's and a port. Fire the 2 15's forward and the port out the passenger end of the box
