They sound good for what there worth, but just alittle bit ago my friend down the street has 2 of those 12's and a 1200w amp in a explorer. I drowned his out with my RF T112's in a trunk car. But they did sund pretty good.

its in the trunk, had to clamp the shizit out of it, because they werent lining up right. After all the liquid nail was squeezed out and dried, I went and resined the seam, then put a layer of fiberglass matt on it. Its gets lower for sure, but doesnt sound any louder to my ear. The box is 2cubes larger then my old box.

I was going to post about the butter wax, but you did. I used it when I worked at a body shop and have a small container of it now. This stuff is hands down the best ever(if you can find it)
