I feel really good when I get compliments like this. It took me 4 months and it was well worth it. Thank You!!!

Oh yeah, I have a ton of stuff in there and if you don't look at it piece by piece you'd only think there are a few things. Here is a pic of just some of the wiring I had used to put in there.

Thanks, I really appreciate the comments. Its really funny, but I didn't even touch the factory system. All the door speakers and the factory radio are untouched. The aftermarket system was really just an add on to the truck. I have an 80 amp relay to power the whole center console, but the weird thing is that I can turn both of them on at the same time. People get shocked when they hear the difference between the factory and the aftermarket system. I've always wanted to show people how much a stock system really sucks. haha

Smd Forums Ftw!

For some odd reason, this forum always attracts positive people who are willing to teach and learn from each other. I've really never looked at any other forums and I don't think there is a need to IMO. I am totally against trash talking someone's system and will never do it. When I was 16 and had my very first stereo system my wires were all over the place and I was still geeked because it sounded good. A lot of people still come to me for advice and I am always will to help someone out and guide them in the right direction. We got a lot of patience here and it shows because most of the questions are all the same and everyone is always willing to answer that. That shows you that you can but a bunch of people together and get along from all over the world. -
I have the MB Quart Premiums and they get loud, but no where near what they use to sound like in the past before Maxxsonics bought them out. They still sound good though. I am pushing 125w RMS to them with the gains all the way down on my amp. They should be in the 200 to 250 range now since they are a bit old.

Thanks Man!!! Here are some pics: This system includes: Eclipse CD5435 CD/MP3 Player Alpine DVE-5207 DVD Player Alpine PKG-1000 10.2" Monitor Alpine TUE-T151 TV Tuner Alpine ERA-G320 EQ Apple Mini Ipod Stinger Volt Meter Audiocontrol MVC Precision Power PCX-2400 Precision Power PCX-4125 MB Quart Premium PCE-215 (2 Sets) MB Quart Premium Mid-Bass JL Audio 15W0-8 ( Stinger Battery Power2 1000 (2) Stinger Fuse Blocks, Holders and Distribution Alumapro 15 Farad Cap Stinger 200Amp Relay 100 Blue LEDs Stinger RCAs Stinger Wiring Also Important note that I always forget to mention. There are 2 Stereo Systems in there. One is Factory/OEM and the other is Aftermarket for that before and after look and sound. You can hear what it sounds like before and after. Well, I got some good news a few weeks ago from the editor of Car Audio & Electronics. Probably in a few months it will be featured in their magazine. I did fill out a bunch of paperwork. I really can't change anything until I find out what will happen. This Forum has really hyped me up to get some Fi subs. I might just make a new enclosure with Fi subs.

I had a similar problem with someone else's system. They had a Kinetic Battery up front and one in the back. I tested the voltage from the alt. and it was fine with the engine on, but when I tested the battery in the back it was around 12.4. The amp would shut off once I raised the volume to a certain level. I checked everything over and over again and still couldn't find anything wrong. So I decided to change the anl fuse up front and fortunately it solved the problem. The fuse looked like it was in perfect condition, but looks can be deceiving. Try this out. I hope it solves the problem.

I know its been said, but my bass knob controller as well. If anyone could recall the MVC from Audiocontrol that was used as a master volume control is what I use as a bass knob/volume control/line driver. How does your Ipod sound in there? I don't like the way mine sounds, I have a lot of noise that sounds like engine noise but its not that. I guess I have to get a new radio with a direct connect for the ipod because the one I have now has aux. inputs which I have RCAs from the ipod heaphone jack to the radio aux. input. Oh, and I didn't get one of those "Supporting Members" banner. haha

That's a sweet box, plus I haven't seen one of those RF Regulators in a long time. -

First of all, I can't knock at anyone because I don't even have a video camera. I still have a Nikon 4MP from a few years ago. That's next on my list so I can take some video clips too. -

I just took them out yesterday and put the other 2 back in. I was just trying to see how it would sound. I need to make a logo in back of the box. I just got some router templates from Mobile Solutions. -

Laminating Resin, Everglass, Rage Gold, Featherfill G2, Sherwin Williams factory paint than Clear Coat. -
I had these amps in mind. The specs for the subs say that they are dual 1 ohm or dual 2 ohm but are really dual .7 ohm or dual 1.4 ohms. I just wouldn't want a proablem with not enough power or having them shutting down.

Yes, I did all of the work. -
Actually, I am using the same box and getting some ideas. I'm not sure about doing anything else to this truck. I just can't do anything else until a few months because of a photoshoot.
