I just got a English bulldog about 6months or so. Great dog, and great bulldog personality. I had been looking for almost 2 years for the right dog, I looked at local breeders and could not find anything that was a dog that I wanted. I started to find local bulldog rescue leagues and almost got into the program until I found out that its more like a foster home thing. Finally after two years I found a breeder that I liked and that was breeding wonder full bulldogs. And I could not be more happy. Adopting dogs is great, and if I could have found a bulldog at a shelter I would have gone that route. But there is no dog like a bulldog and thats what I wanted so I payed more then what I would have if i would have adopted. But it was worth the time and money. Bulldogs are great dogs. Sorry to hear about your pops David, my mother has had the same surgury a couple of years back and is now 100%. He will pull though just fine. I used to live out in Washington when I was little and miss it a great deal. Sooooo much better then Iowa, the weather is wonderful out there and you get bet have the ocean and the mountains right there. Take a bunch of pics bro cant wait to see them.
