on the way to the banquet at Steve's 300th show, one of my teammates gets a random call from a wrong number, my buddy tells the dude he got the wrong number, this dude proceeds to get loud with my boy and tell him that this is the right fucking number and starts talking all sorts of head. So we get dude number off the caller id and produced to call this guy about 20 times each from our self phones... and leave this guy the following message " If you call this number again i will find your mother, and fuck her until your house smells of Lima beans and tuna" lol dude never called back hahaha

^lol i think that is just a midwest thing bro -
^not bad but i would personally go for something more proven, such as fi, re, dd,treo, hifonics (subs). If you are looking for a super woofer that can handle the beating of spl, look no further then FI, and for the price you cant ask for more out of a company. I love my fi subs and would not give them up for anything, not only is there product good, but if you have any kinda questions or problems the boys at fi will help. SPL is not just something you can just jump into, there is lots of planning and tuning, and planning more and tuning again, then blowing shit up and then fix'n that...... so on and so on, if you are looking to go the "cheaper" route i would not go for a pure spl set up. Have you gone to many shows bro? If you are looking for loud on a budget and not having to constantly be fixing something or buying more shit, i would go into the wonderful world of Bass Race. Bass race is lots of fun, and i think most season vets will tell ya bass race is alot more fun then spl. You can build a very loud system do great in the lanes, and still be able to listen to your setup on a daily level. I am not trying to be a dick, but i would give your ideas a real run though, and see if a pure spl setup is something you want to deal with. If you have any question bro, just shoot me a pm, i would be more then happy to help ya find something that will smash in the lanes, and something you can blow people away on the blvd. just my .02$

i think most everybody when they first get into spl goes though this same thing. "Should i get lots of little cheap subs or go with a couple really good woofers" I have personally went down this road i would suggest spending your money on one or two really nice subs and a really nice amp. Buying all the "cheaper" eq does nothing but cause disappointment and trouble in the long run. Personally i would hold off on doing this setup until you can buy two really nice subs say like fi btl. Then get one nice amp. Because in the end, and most will tell you this that quantity never beats quality. Just my .02$

Steve much love go out to your fam bro. I have lost an aunt at 42 due to breast cancer and just recently had another aunt beat it. I would be more then willing to throw some money out for the this, cause it hits so close to home and i know that its a tough time for the whole fam. I think if you were to set up a donation and just give a cd to people that make a donation that there should not be any kinda problems with that. No matter how you do it bro let us know, cause i would help as much as i can. -

There is always private loans that can be taken out. As long as the school is willing to wait on the disbursement you should be able to go to a lender and get money. I would look for private non profits in your area, there are lots of them. Look for a loan that is based on the LIBOR rate, seeing as it will cost you less. I would not take out a private loan for more then 10%. Look at cosigner options, that always helps the rate. If you are still wanting to go this semester its still could be a possibility. If you need any further help, like finding a lender, or questions about private loans, shoot me a pm and i can help. -

Hey buy the way guys, i work for a huge student loan company as a financial aid advisor and in Federal Loan Consolidation out here in the Midwest. If you have any kinda question about financial aid, just let me know and i can get ya an answer. If you have not filled out FAFSA you should really hurry on that, alot of states cut off dates are coming up on that forum and you don't want to be screwed out of a good loan Pink Floyd as MegaloManiac said you are going to want to stay in the "school" frame of mind. We deal with lots of kids that fill out all there financial aid forums, decided that they are going to take a semester off, and never come back i would say its a 90% chance that you will not go back. I would say that if you go into your first 2 years knowing that you are going to get all you cores taken and out of the way, you should have no problem and Come year 3 you should having a better understanding on what it is you want to do with your life. There are lots of programs out there for really good profession, get involved do lots of internships, explore new ideas cause its cold out here in the work world so have fun, don't drink too much lol, and enjoy it -
