    Since you mentioned it, do I only need the GM Interface to keep On-Star (which I will never use) or does it interact with other things. It's about the only snag I've seen so far.....

    I don't want to take up much room so once I measure I will see how much room a ported box will take up. If I'm okay with that it'll be tuned around 35. More then likely I will just do a sealed enclosure until everything else is done then move to bigger subs.

    I'm back. Between work and skiing I had to pur car audio to a rest for a while. In the mean time I traded in the jetta for a 2000 Tahoe. Very excited about building a new system. Going to use the three tens from my last one and build a new enclosure, of course, for my NEW HOE Needs alot of audio work. Stock system SUCKS ASS. Here are some pics. That's a 6" lift and 35" tires.     that's kinda what I was thinking about just closer to the subs like within 3 inches. I noticed you mentioned metering the differences would like to know what you found. I'm not planning on this with my system change, but would still like to know what you find.

    is their any sq with the btl...Trying to decide a daily two 15" setup then can bang when competing thinking about TCsounds 3000 +Cp but if the SQ is anygood with the btl I would use that instead any opinions on SQ of the btl????????

    I have the D6 10's good subs, but follow their recommendations, instllers have problems with their subs because rule of thumb doesn't work. For example even though they like small enclosures they like really big boxes...if you have two twelves use their dual 12" special box or as close as you can

    What about MX do you like better then the Si, except that you have one. Didn't Ray@Superior say he was a Re dealer? I wonder what his price for a Re MX 15" Dual 2 would be. Just for sh%ts and giggles

    Well, I don't know where the hook-up is on these but $1000 for subs is my limit this winter with everything else I have to do.

    that's why I'm debating...but sq is where it gets expensive and I'm spending less then the 4 12's with equal output - 1db @ 35 hz(according to wsd comparison) and room for future growth...In other words I don't ever see doing 8 12's but maybe (big maybe) 4 15's and when I consider spending $4k on front stage, amps, h/u, alternator and baterries an extra $450 isn't that bad for the best Sq

    according to the 12" challenge the mag has better sq then Fi. do you think that would be true with the 15"? After comparing prices and charts and reviews I was considering doing two 15" Si Mags instead of 4 12" Q's..The RE's are just too expensive for me
