  1. Did you do it yourself, if so that's the most important part is learning how to do it and then enjoying it.
  2. Well my friend bought a new ride (94 or 95 blazer) and asked me to build him a box for his two LVL 3 DC 12s. Here is how it came out. Some of the primer and paint pics were taking right after being sprayed so they are a little wet still. Feel free to give any feed back you feel. First coat of primer Sanded then second coat of primer Sanded again and primed again and then sanded again. First top coat Sanded again and final coat final product. his truck is still tore apart having a new tranny put in so no pics installed or videos, as soon as he lets me know i will post pics and videos.
  3. Well it is "Rehab the Band"'s first nationally released album.... well kinda the CD was just re-pressed with 3 new songs. The Band recently got signed to a bigger record label......... hence the remake of the Hit single bartender. Brooks Burford- white boy rapper from old school rehab- is in a group call Audio Club- I like the new Rehab but then again I liked the old Rehab too.
  4. Check out there myspace.... myspace.com/rehabmusic Rehab 5 or 6 years ago is not the same as they are today. Brooks Buford left the group to do something else and he was the host of the short lived MTV show Trailer Fabulous. Danny Boone the other part of Rehab is still the lead man and lead song writer.
  5. Here are some shipping is more than likely going to run any where from 30 to 100 dollars. Just call them and they will give you shipping quotes. http://caraudiofactory.com/hatchbacktrunk-...c-22_29_63.html
  6. I'd do it as well..... In fact that is what I would like to do when I get another 1500. From what I have been told and read that dual stocks will preform more effectively while putting out the same output as a single HO alt. Edit>> Can you get stock alts for an 02 Avalanche that cheap?
  7. This was the show in fairfeild OH. I was there hit a 146.0 street C << only one in my class. Most of the other guys were from my little town and just wanted to get metered and see what its all about.
  8. X2 Played from 3rd grade till 12th. Center and D-line (was a little heavier in my school days). Best record was like 7-2 but never made it past first round of sectionals<<< choke. Number 57
  9. When I was researching subs to purchase a couple months ago I ran acrossed this.... http://www.audiojunkies.com/blog/1244/tc-s...-up-for-auction I have heard the above patents have sold and are no longer on this site. http://www.bankruptcysales.com/view_assets4.cfm?ID=7023 As far as the future on TC Sounds/Audiopulse I haven't seen anything.
  10. 145.9 dash (dbdrag) 147.8 kick (usaci) Thanks What can i say I needed shoes for Wednesday night b-ball and the b&g club thought to myself MEH might as well.
  11. Ok I won 1st place again..... I was the only one in my class. USACI event in Indianapolis 147.8 in the kick
  12. Get this: http://www.tigerdirect.com/applications/Se...7&CatId=373 And This: http://www.tigerdirect.com/applications/Se...&CatId=2688 Not the cheapest but decent equipment. Plug your modem into the WAN port of the Wireless router with the ethernet cable provided. Plug computer with ethernet card into a LAN port. Plug the D-link Wireless card into the USB port of the other computer. Just going on your questions I assume you've never set up a router. Put the linksys disk that comes with your router in the computer directly connected to the router via ethernet cable and follow the instructions. After you have internet on the wired computer then plug the wireless usb drive in the remote computer and put the d-link disk in and follow the directions. Read the manual if you want security set up. You could do something a simple as WAP or WEP or even MAC authentication if you wanted to. Or just leave it wide open like most people do. Edit: I said D-link but gave you a link to a netgear either way you get the point
  13. That is per sub.... The box you posted is 2.20 total which is 1.1 per sub, then you gotta factor in sub displacement which is .18cuft. So after sub displacement your looking at .92cuft per sub. Your probably going to be better of having a box made either way IMO.
  14. I would recommend building a box. Avy's are hard to do IMO. You could build the box then have a shop do the trim piece (seal it off). I just think that if you were to order that box off caraudiofactory your BTLs would be starving for air space with only about 1cuft after displacement. And for the price of that box shipped you could get a shop to do it if you didn't want to do it yourself.
  15. If your talking about one from caraudiofactory.com I'd say no because its a little small for those subs and if my math is right after displacement of subs your looking around 1cuft per chamber and tuning around in the low 50s.
  16. I say seal it off from the bed. Here is my second attempt at a midgate replacment. If your like me I had a problem finding alot of avalanche builds bigger than 2 10s under the seat. http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/ind...showtopic=22068
  17. I did some experimenting with my avalanche. The best I found was subs and port facing into the cabin sealed off from the back(bed). The biggest difference was when I sealed it off from the bed. Are you going to be doing all the work yourself?
  18. Thanks for the advice I will give it a shot.
  19. Thanks- I wish, the damn charger I got wont work. Can I use a stand up charger at 2amp, or does it have to be a charger that is made for agm batteries?
  20. Thanks man. I am new to the whole competing thing. I just need to get on a meter and do a sweep so I know what I am peaking at. My last box was tuned to 37hz and I peaked at 46hz. This time my box is tuned to 33hz and I ran at 48hz<<< I don't know if I peaked here or not till I can get some meter time because I was so nervous when I went through qualifying that I started at 32hz with the volume 3/4 of what I normally have it on. Then after seeing the board I turned the volume the rest of the way up.
  21. Second time ever on a meter First time ever competing and I won first in Street C with 145.9. I got there early this morning and was in the lane qualifying within ten minutes of being there. They gave me a CD and I started at 32hz and just went up 3 tracks at a time within 30 seconds until I got to 48hz. I am still not sure where I peak but 48hz was the only track I played on my other 3 runs. Gear: 2 15 Sundown Nightshades 1 SAZ1500 at .5 ohm 1 Powemaster D2400 1 MLA module 145.9 and I think I got more if I can get some meter time to test.
  22. I guess where I was going with my post was more geared toward the Tier 1 internet Providers and not the Government. It's the big companies wanting more money. The reason is it cost money to build a bigger infrastructure and they don't want to wait as long for a return. So the people who use it most will help pay.
  23. Here is a write up on the "metered Internet". Again what is being said in the video posted above is very unlikely. But this story below is more than likely where its going. Times wire report Article Launched: 06/03/2008 06:13:20 AM MDT NEW YORK - You're used to paying extra if you use up your cell phone minutes, but will you be willing to pay extra if your home computer goes over its Internet allowance? Time Warner Cable Inc. customers -- and, later, others -- may have to, if the company's test of metered Internet access is successful. On Thursday, new Time Warner Cable Internet subscribers in Beaumont, Texas, will have monthly allowances for the amount of data they upload and download. Those who go over will be charged $1 per gigabyte, a Time Warner Cable executive told the Associated Press. Metered billing is an attempt to deal fairly with Internet usage, which is very uneven among Time Warner Cable's subscribers, said Kevin Leddy, Time Warner Cable's executive vice president of advanced technology. Just 5 percent of the company's subscribers take up half of the capacity on local cable lines, Leddy said. Other cable Internet service providers report a similar distribution. "We think it's the fairest way to finance the needed investment in the infrastructure," Leddy said. Metered usage is common overseas, and other U.S. cable providers are looking at ways to rein in heavy users. Most have download caps, but some keep the caps secret so as not to alarm the majority of users, who come nowhere close to the limits. Time Warner Cable appears to be the first major ISP to charge for going over the limit: Other companies warn, then suspend
