  1. I have a white paper about something similar to this.... I think Time warner is testing this out somewhere in the US and they feel like its working. Its basically like a cell phone contract. You pay for a subscription package for amount of data you can use (download and upload) If you go over it you are billed whatever rate they charge. What is being said in this video is possible to an extent but I think its a little drastic. As competitive as the "big companies" I don't see this happening.
  2. I think 2 SAZ 3000d's would be perfect for 6 lvl 4 15's.... IMO. Either way just make sure you have the electrical setup to back up the kinda power needed for any of the amps mentioned.
  3. I know you said you wanted new but X2 on ^^^^^
  4. I think it would depend on your box and the amount of power. Both are great from what I hear. I had 2 lvl 3 12's and hit 142.6 sealed on the dash TL. Thats with voltage drop into the low 10's. From what I have read it take about 1500 watts to get the BL moving good and about 1000 to get the DC moving. Again I have only used the lvl 3 so my opinion is based off research but I would go DC.
  5. That is your connection to the wireless router 802.11g. To test your internet speed go to www.speakeasy.net/speedtest and click the server closest to you.
  6. Bill gates is stashing 3 gigs off every windows machine for homeland security<< key logging. NAW J/K
  7. Is this true? If so is it really 5-8db? 5 to 8 seems awful high to me even if it is inefficient.
  8. Yeah I read that too but I am assuming that is MAX. I wouldn't run it any higher than 200
  9. I use it and I was told as long I didn't draw more than 200 amp I'd be fine. Figure up your total current draw and go from there.
  10. I would say it depends on the amount of current your drawing.
  11. Thats funny my first car was an 88 die-nasty. I ran two MTX 8000 12's when they first came out in the trunk. RATTLED so bad it wasn't funny but I didn't care at the time.
  12. If you got a buyer lined up and can make some money go for it and buy two more. If you think there is a possibilty you will sit on these JL subs for awhile id say no.
  13. I mean I don't know what the prerequisites are of a GP are but I would assume at least 150 and hair tricks or maybe just hair tricks IDK. But yeah the way to be a GP is to get loud. Just tune low and a lot cone surface. I would still measure and see how much space you have.... What car?
  14. 6.2 before or after displacement(sub and port)? I'd say you would be good either way but on my LVL 3's (12) I split the difference after displacement. So after port and sub displacement I was around 3.5.
  15. I've heard cone area is the way to go. I am getting ready for a new build as well. Measure the space you have to work with.... Once you have the dims find out how many cuft you have and start looking at sub specs then use this.... http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/ind...amp;mode=linear
  16. I have read on here mixing sub sizes and different models cause cancellation<<<<<< never tried it though. If you want to go to the "For sale section" I know someone has an 18 for sale.
  17. I don't think their is a new layout just go to options upper right hand corner below banner and switch it to standard.
  18. Thats cool I use the worksheet calculator AMatt85 made
  19. Thats right cause if you add 12.5 plus .75 plus .75 equals 14 from the back to the front of the port. I'm not being a smart ass just writing it out.
