Ya I had that problem, main took a shit and found out my 2ndary was causing some issues, so I had to take that out and now everything is working.

Guys need help real quick. What are the major reasons an amp’s ground wire would get hot? Asking for a friend

It is not big enough for the amp or the metal being used to make the ground connection on the car was not cleaned up for a pure metal to metal contact

GOD i HATE Boss Audio amps!!! i wish i never bought them but now im stuck with them....

That is why i look at either Steve Meade's, BigDWiz or Ryan Blankeship's Amp tests to see if they do any where near close to rated power!
That is how i picked my JBL amp, i was going to go for a Hifonics but saw tests, the JBL GTO 501EZ Steve did a test on did rated plus!

Is it a common thing on sundown subs for the tinsels to fatigue and break right at the triple joint? Third one I've seen snap

I had a pair of Crunch Fatboys in early 2k's have the tinsel leads come apart some how, so it happens but it's rare.
