  2. big money for some of those too... id like to keep it below 350, i assumed people would just suggest amps in that price range lol Why? When you said price doesn't matter we are going to turn you on to good to high quality amps. Not shit amps! When it comes to Class A/B amps quality of the internal parts are better and that is more important, I would use any of the Sundown Class A/B amps, Rockford Fosgate, or Kicker. This is where the components inside the amp mean the most. And James will tell you what some of the amps are that are better than the brands I listed
  3. Glad I made your day Ray. I have been trying to get the price for an AA Havoc 15"??? :peepwall: Yes sir, After looking at sub and specs for months I think that Havoc 15 is exactly what I want. I want to help my buddy become an authorized RF deal so I can get my T2500.1BDcp and then I want a Havoc 15 or two. I just can't think of any other 15 that suits my needs
  4. Well check your Email and your junk folder and you should have it
  5. Yo I have the info you want! All you need to do is to give me a Email address to send it too.
  6. Glad I made your day Ray. Would ya do me a favor and check your PM. I have been trying to get the price for an AA Havoc and you are one of the 3 people I have PMed and I haven't gotten a response. Would you get me a price or find me a dealer please. Hell I will call you if you don't mind.
  7. Yes it makes a lot of sense. You are using a Class D amp that uses FM modulation. It is just the way it is. Class D amps do have a tendency to ruin radio reception and all you can do is try and install the amp some where else in the car and see if it helps. You can try a different amp but I would recommend you call tech support to find out if their amps cause the same problem too or else you will keep having this problem. EDIT: The reason the little 2 channel amp didn't cause a problem is because it is not designed the same way at all like the ClassD sub amp.
  8. PM me your Email Address. I should have it and the white paper that explains how to use it.
  9. cant u buy recone kits to make them suit your needs? I know but I want them perfect and I have never built a sub from scratch. I want to keep the high power handling with an Fs of atleast 25 and able to use them in a sealed or ported box. Finally I'm tired of 10s, I have fallen in love with 15s but the SA 12 has my interest. I just don't know if I could build a sub for less than it would cost to buy a new sub the size I want because NO more 10s for me.
  10. You mentioned strapping on little amps. Well Jacob look at it like this. You have a way to get 1000,2000, and 3000 watts into 2 ohm loads since you only offer those wattages at 1 ohm. Just like I love the SAZ-1500v2 you got me but I'm not running it because I don't have a combination of woofers that I can use with it to get the power I need. Everything I have boughten in the last 10 years have been optimized for 2 ohm amps and I have no money to buy any subs right now. I wish you had a woofer trade in program. I have a set of woofers that have one hell of a motor that I don't want but they are SPL subs with fs at 50 hertz. (2 American Bass VFL 10's) (I only have a couple burps on them) (LOL and I can't find anyone that will buy them from me) EDIT; How about a trade for 2 of your d4 SA 12s to use with my SAZ-1500v2
  11. its almost 10 at night and your now waking up?!?! LOL jp LOL its just now pushing 9am here fool
  12. Dude why the hell would you want 1/0 on an amp this size? Duh du du dum
  13. Jake I'm happy to see you bring this amp out. It should be quite popular to the average consumer and like I told you about my area, people are just looking for little upgrades and not big boom, big woofer systems. They want upgraded door speakers and a little bass added to that and that is it. Little shops like I'm associated with, well we just aren't doing big things, just upgrade type stuff. Do you think you will keep it down to 650 to 700 watts at 1.0 % distortion at 1 ohm? No need to be bigger than that for a 500 watt amp.
  14. I may take my large HD that plugs into the wall out to see if its faster but not for a few hours. Just woke up and cranky
  15. I have been using my little Sandisk drive with mine. Yes it is slow but if you hook it up and let it sit for a few minutes, it seems like it is loading the info off of it. I just let mine sit for 2-3 minutes before I touch anything and it helps some but doesn't cure the problem. The next step for me is to call the manufacture about it. I was wanting to use a 350gig WD Passport with mine but if it is going to be a pain in the ass I won't waste my money. It does suck
  16. Ya how does that work when you listen to your bass for 100% total self satisfaction. Yes depending how big a system I'm running I leave it cranked except in a stopped position. EDIT ( I do leave it cranked when I drive by cops) Thats how I know what I can get away with. If I leave it cranked when I drive by cops and they don't pull me over then I do feel my stereo is not loud enough to need to turn down except at stop lights and other things similar.
  17. I never said the Kickers got louder....They got lower and just had an overall better sound to them.
  18. Holy sh!t I'm on the top poster board! LOL been a while!

    1. B Slaps

      B Slaps

ill never be on that list.

  19. With exception of very few subs out there (that you need to worry about spider damage) the point of breaking in a subwoofer has to do with getting optimum sound quality out of the sub when you install it. A woofers sound will change some after break in but it will do it over a course of a few weeks of normal play too. I have noticed Kicker subs change a lot after break in. Get lower and sound more robust after they loosen up.
  20. I am anticipated the SAE-500D to actually go for around $200 from an authorized dealer. An SAE that can handle .5 ohm or will it become a SAZ. a saz can be run at 0.5 Diz the point of the question or your asking if a SAZ will run .5 ohm and yes as long as you forfeit your warranty. (I know you know this.) I guess I need to edit for a question mark in my post LOL.

  22. Thats the stuff I have been looking for. That lil 500 watter looks like its going to be a monster. I really like what I'm seeing. Now I know nothing about the NS-1. What are the ideas of wattage output were you shooting for to go on the specifications sheet since you haven't been able to test it for true output yet. Would this be the 7,000 watt guy you talked about building a couple years back when you made a thread to decide if you should release an amp this large?
  23. I gotcha! Sooooo, um what type of box are you going to run your CVR's in? Is it sealed? Is it ported and if so how do you know it is tuned properly for the Comp VR?
  24. Why don't you want to run your RE SX? That would be a competent sub depending on coil configuration.
