What do you mean you can't find the starter interrupt. You don't find it you have to make it useing a relay. -
Whats wrong with the RF T2 if these are the only choices.

For SPL i wouldn't choose either. Mostly becuase of cost. Checkout the forum and you will find alot of woofers that will accomplish what you want and possibly be alot louder and alot cheaper.

Why Would Someone Do This
ISO replied to Jman08's topic in Member Videos - Host 'em & Post 'em! System Vids / Off Topic
It just seemed kinda stupid. Now it would have been cool if the guy in the back had fallen out of the car and got his head hit by the woofer. LOL -

I only read part of your thread, but it reminds me of an amp I had one time. What was going on in a 3 amp install was 1 of the amps did not shut down when I turned everything off, so actually the amp with the probblem turned off but for some reason it was energizing the other 2 amps to stay on when everthing was shut down. Have you checked to see if the power light on your amp is still on after a reasonable amount of time of everthing being off? It was a wierd situation, I had to take that amp out to get everything to work right.(everything worked rite, some amps just didn't shut off.LOL)

http://electronics.search.ebay.com/phoenix...40QQsacatZ79839 http://electronics.search.ebay.com/phoenix...R40QQsacatZ1498 http://electronics.search.ebay.com/phoenix...40QQsacatZ60207 Its the TLD66 if you have 3 sets of preamps. Hope this helps you out. I don't use much Phoenix Gold but I will stand behind thier higher end products. All of these line drivers are adjustable.
-
Oh ya if you have 3 seperate preamp outs you want to run line drivers on, Phoenix makes the TLD44 witch is made for that and its not much more expensive.

My bad man its your post DUHHHHH. My head unit puts out about 1 volt clean 2 volts max. Well 70% of my amps can't handle more than 3 volts but all my sub amps 0can take up to 6 volts. So I was putting 1 volt into an amp that can take 6 volts. Know I am running about 3.5 to 4 CLEAN volts to my sub amp. What it seems like to me is my subs hit tighter my subsonics are alot more noticable and overall it just seems like there is less distortion.(don't quote me on that last part). I installed this line driver into a system that I have ran for the last 2 years, so I know the sound of my system very well.
-
Whos mine or his?
-
I just installed the Phoenix Gold TLD22 last weekend on my sub amp and it really made a huge difference. I recommend it. If you can't get one here they are on ebay all the time brand new.

Thank you Chevyboy.

Thank you as far as a seller goes you are one of the best I have ever dealt with and the packing and shipping were top notch. Thanks man for the HX2s Now I got me a new project that will keep me occupied for awhile. I'll let you know how the rebuilds go in a few weeks. Chevyboy is someone I deffinetly recommend dealing with if he has something you need. Thanks ISO

Alot of us probbly can't afford O-scopes.(I know if I had a grand I would choose an amp over the scope) How about a little box that has 5 or 10 LEDs that can hook up to RCAs to find clipping. 5 green 1 yellow 2 orange 2 red (Red is a clipped signal) Then build one that can go on the speaker outputs of large amps to find clipping. Then offer a 3rd one that can be used with the RCAs and speaker terminal outputs. There are 3 items to make money off of. If it was good enough and the price was rite I would jump on one in a heart beat.

Mounting A Line Driver
ISO replied to ISO's topic in General Audio - Can't find a category for your question? Ask here.
Remmember electricity is the same as water traveling through a pipe. What you put in will not have the same amount of force (current) after it travels so far. So with the line driver at the amp, if it recieves a crappy signal at the end it will amplify a crappy signal. VS being at the starting piont and applying more force to push the signal to the amp. I just have a crappy set of circumstances to deal with. Thats why I was wondering how bad it would be to mount it near the amp.
