These things cant really handle much more than theyre rated for? id say 1100 1200 max but thats just me. alpine doesnt make competition quality subs that can take a lot more than theyre rated for

yea i dunno ive been reading that they can take a bit, i used to have a alpine type r and i ran it of of 1850 rms and it was still hungry for more

alpine really doesnt make competition subs. and that type r most likely fried after a few minutes on that

If you want something that will take more power and pound harder,your gonna have to look elsewhere.Other than that stay with the specs that alpine gives you.

i like the alpine but i would rather do some DDs
