Can water damage the sub at all? What the hell can I do to fix this? rubbernutz1 Posted February 7, 2011 Report Posted February 7, 2011 hells ya water can damage it. if u got a paper cone it can soak the water up. if water gits down into the magnet it can really fuck it up. magnets can rust u no water causes rust. and just so u no theres no such thing as a water proof sub. there mite be sum thats water resistant but no water proofs. Your weather stripping that seals off your trunk/hatch is probably bad. I would look into that first.
