cigarette lighter bass knob

ok i saw daddy meade used it on the caddy. and i recently acquired a new amp and thought i would do something different.

i have searched and searched how to do it. but all i can find is nothing... if anyone could give me some pointers i would love to do this.

i think he shows some of how he did it in one of the build videos. might check the build log on here too might be some pics of some of the steps so you asleast have an idea of how to do it

there is like 47 million build logs of just his stuff. i would be searching for 3 days. i just was wondering if maybe somebody could tell me from just knowledge or experience.

i think you would have to modify the lighter to hold the bass control knob, then take out the chamber of the lighter where it lights, but somehow keep the outside shell so the light knob can still lock and turn without falling out.

or remove the insides of the lighter knob, get a rubber grommet and fit it snuggly on the bass control knob.

then you gotta remove the stock lighter chamber from the dash and modify it to hold the whole bass control unit

ok. thanks so i gather you just have to remove everything and get the knob attached to the lighter in some way or another. now i just have to figure out how to take my dash apart...
