SHOW AND TELL TIME!!

For the past month or so i wasn't able to get the forum to load on my home computer and my gf's computer kept saying something about a virus so i said screw it to loading pictures. Got on today and waahoo! I can finally get on the forum, so i got my photobucket goin and i have a few pics for everyone!

My 2000 Ford Ranger with projector headlights finally installed, pictures on that to come.

Another pic to showcase the headlights.

108_0574.jpg

My Mechman 270a alternator, hopefully going to send it in soon to get some work done on it, might need more power in the future :)

108_0581.jpg

Redtop for the winter time and my winter system, mainly took the picture to show the cool battery terminals i got from Rockford, dual 1/0 and dual 4 ga. inputs

108_0580.jpg

The new powerhouses that'll be going into the truck. The D3400 is for under the hood and the D3100 and it's twin (already in the truck) will be in the cab with me.

DSCN0593.jpg

For the box i'll be using 3/4" 11 ply Birch Plywood, atleast a triple thick baffle for the sub to sit on and atleast double throughout the rest of the box. 45s in all corners with a removable port that does double duty as an arm rest as well. The box will most likely stay bare seeing as i like the "industrial look" plus i don't know what i want to finish it in lol.

This hardware (3/8" all thread and fasteners) will act as the transfer points for the speaker leads since i only have 1 ft or so from the sub itself. The ends will be terminated and than a second lead from the transfer point till be terminated and than go to the amp. Once i get a plate made up to convert the sub and have it sit inside the box, the transfer points will be available on the inside already

108_0564.jpg

These monster all threads are 3/4" with related fasteners. They will perform double duty as bracing for the box in all corners, as well as stabilization for the box to the cab so it doesn't move around at all.

108_0565.jpg

It's supposed to be nice tomorrow and as long as i don't have to help move my gf's brother to his new place, i'll be starting work on the truck. Hopefully more pictures than of the current stuff, the teardown and planning stages.
