SasquatchREG32 Posted February 16, 2011 Report Posted February 16, 2011 Has anyone tried either of these amps? I currently have a RF T2000-1bd and I am thinking about upgrading. I am also looking into Sundown SAZ-3000d also.
Trâgîk Posted February 16, 2011 Report Posted February 16, 2011 DC and sundown are both great amps..if you buy new, DC is cheaper by far but you can probably find a sundown cheaper used than the DC 3.5k so its up to you. Ive got a dc 3.5k and had a sundown before also so know them both -----SELLING EVERYTHING---- 2 DC sound labs 3.5k's (still avail) 2 HDC312A D1's (still avail) 5 XS Power Batteries (1 d3400 and 1 d1200 left) 4 runs of knukoncepz 0 gauge (have all the wire still) DC power 270XP alt (sold) RF T1 6.5 components (both sold) Powerbass XAX 4160 (still avail) Custom built box 4.75^3 tuned 34hz (still avail)

My subs arent made to "sound the best" but i dont think they are bad and each amp sounds just as good if you ask me. I only heard my DC for about 15 min of just testing it cause my box im building isnt done but yeah it sounded great. Go with what ever you can get a better price on, you will be happy either way man trust me.. Im also gonna tell you that i had a rockford t1000bdcp, the newer 1000 watt amp and that thing had cleaner power than both! That thing was a beastly little 1000 plus watt amp! But i know they are very expensive when hou get the 4000 watt amp. fecupe2001 Posted February 16, 2011 Report Posted February 16, 2011 My best friend played a M3 for over a year and that thing was a monster, sounded great also, but yes, is way too expensive compared to other amplifiers on the market IMO.
