It looks like you are lucky your car hasn't burned down yet. That fuse holder looks like it is melting nicely...find someone who actually knows what is going on locally and have then help you. That is the worst install I've seen in all the builds I've seen from shops and local friends that thought they knew what they were doing. File a report against this shop and go get your money back. Don't even try and do it yourself. Get your money back then I think you will feel better about doing it yourself. It's ridiculous. brad131 Posted February 18, 2011 Author Report Posted February 18, 2011 i live in cartersville georgia which is about an hour north of atlanta, like i said im new, i went to a place called valencia car audio, and everything in my car is something the guy from that shop did, the only time ive touched any of it was to un hook it so nothing would break paid the guy $50

I use a 130 amp fuse for 1200 watts RMS! If something were to short out that fuse would not even get touched. Dj_Scarface Posted February 18, 2011 Report Posted February 18, 2011 SMMFH!!! well this damn sure wasnt a shop install... not to be mean but who ever did this, ghetto riged that sh*t. let me try to help here without you spending $. since the amp getting power lets try this: first get some sandpaper & take that bolt with all the black wires going to it OUT, push it to the side for now. now take the sandpaper & remove all paint from the bolt whole and 1" all the way around the whole(you need to see & feel bear metal. then take that bolt & make sure them wires are fully wraped around that bolt. put the bolt back in the whole you just sanded, make sure it tighted all the way down & the wires are still fully wraped around. edit: THIS POST SHOWED UP LATE AS HELL! B4 HE SAID IT WAS A SHOP!!
