DylanH Posted February 19, 2011 Report Share Posted February 19, 2011 So i'm stuck on two options. I can't decide between doing 2 12's and learning how to design 4th and 6th order bandpass boxes. I think that would be pretty awesome to learn. But I'm also thinking about doing a single 18 in just a normal ported box. Does anyone with bandpass experience have any insight? They both have about the same cone area and both would be running off the same amp. Edit: I want something thats going to move some air and get loud and low. I don't care about numbers just care whats loudest to the ear. I don't know the difference between 4th or 6th performance wise though so i'm no help. And i won't rant. I just thought it was annoying that ya asked a question but never explained what you wanted. The downside, is they usually come out 3x bigger than a normal ported box. under construction I hate People with crappy primered cars rolling on hubcaps that are louder then me. u hate c-fizzy?
