Do the big 3 and upgrade the starting battery and you should be good. Thanks man. I appreciate it. Is xs the best choice for batteries?? knowledge Posted February 27, 2011 Report Share Posted February 27, 2011 lol. i had a civic with 2 DD9512 on a t4000 with stock alt and 3 batteries and big 3, had it that way for a while. i did 148 in the trunk and had no issues not even dimming lights. A 90 amp alternator charging (what three batteries?) couldn't be the best electrical. But hey, feel free to help others have weak electrical where they run the risk of ruining equipment. RooTxBeeR Posted February 27, 2011 Report Share Posted February 27, 2011 I will probably get a new alt, just because of the fact my Civic is a 91 hatchback, so it's a bit older and I have dimming lights just from putting on the gas pedal lol. Also I always leave my lights on and drain my battery.
