So what amps? If they are a legitimate 400 watt amps, actually doing rated 800 watts is pretty easy. Do the big 3 and upgrade the starting battery and you should be good.

if its a dvc sub and he wires it parallel wont that cut his speaker ohm load in half?

For a single sub set up with D2 voicecoils, the only options are 1 and 4 ohms.

Then I'll go 1 ohm don't matter, I didn't mean to say 2ohm, I am getting the setting on it that says Ohm: Dual 2.

i had a civic with 2 DD9512 on a t4000 with stock alt and 3 batteries and big 3, had it that way for a while. i did 148 in the trunk and had no issues not even dimming lights.

Just find it hard to believe you had good stable voltage like that. A 90 amp alternator charging (what three batteries?) couldn't be the best electrical. But hey, feel free to help others have weak electrical where they run the risk of ruining equipment.

I will probably get a new alt, just because of the fact my Civic is a 91 hatchback, so it's a bit older and I have dimming lights just from putting on the gas pedal lol. Also I always leave my lights on and drain my battery.
