deepsilencer Posted February 27, 2011 Report Share Posted February 27, 2011 i dont know if this is the right section, but here it goes I Had my car parked outside my house for 2 days with out a battery in it. Feb. 24 2011 and decided to put the battery back in on feb 26 2011. The reason i took it out is because i was modifying the plastic cover to fit a xs d3100 in the front. I finished modifying it in less than 30min. but started raining harder so i couldn't work right.The rain cleared yesterday(feb. 26-11) That's when i took advantage and put the battery back in.nice and charged.After everything was all hooked up right,my car wont crank up! All the lights in the ignition works,lock & unlock features works,headlights,etc. but the only thing that doesn't let me do is turn on the car. What do you guys think it might be,I'm planning on taking it to a shop on monday. My mom has a '10 LTZ and hasnt had a problem with hers, sucks that you're having an issue. With the battery unhooked, try and crank the car a couple times to get any remaining charge left in the system out. You might also want to try and call a GM Dealership and see if they can talk you thru it over the phone...some dealerships are nice like that. First System 2002 Impala LS 3.8L V6, 128,365k miles. Alternator: DC Power 190Amp H/O Alternator Headunit: Kenwood KDC-BT945U. Speakers: MBQuart 6.5" Comps, 6x9 3-way. Amplifer: Eclipse 3322 on front 6.5 components, and a Infinity Kappa One @ 2ohm- 800w Subwoofers: 2 REAudio SRX12D2 wired to 2 ohm.
