The Malibu is now DD1 approved and holy jesus... all I have to say is anyone who wants to use mine to tune their system: there will be no charge as long as I get to record your reaction after it's tuned. All other must pay in cash, cigarettes, or blowjobs. Give me a couple months to get the stereo done and I would be down. I would Like to see what those MBQuart amps are capable of. I have an idea that I'll have to see if dkindle is cool with doing some time but we'll see how things go. Last I was in the shop they only charged me $10 to meter, so it's not like I'm paying a lot. Supposedly they pulled themselves off of here to redesign for next year I guess. I got these freshly reconed and after I bought them and they were being made I start hearing all the horror stories come out. Then they came out with some videos of the 600W series of different competitors like dc, T3, Fi, AA and were doing burps on them, and T3 sucked. Didn't want to admit that they sucked but IDK now. Sent a message to Fix my Speaker to see if they will do it and I may end up just selling/trading them. I haven't even pulled them from my car yet, will try to get to it this week or something. Half volume earlier and I could hear one of them bangin' the coil of the bottom plate or something. We'll see though. UBL | Build Log

Lbox88 Posted December 18, 2011 Author Report Posted December 18, 2011 IDK, it's a 2.5" coil I think the best thing about these might be that people buy them to reuse the basket, so I might be able to sell them for that but it won't be for much. We'll see I guess. I'll wait for my reply from FMS and if it's a lot or they can't do it then I'll probably just sell them for something new. UBL | Build Log
