Cashdollar2009
Why don't you have the port in the front then? ? The port is in the front? You mean middle? That would be because of wood displacement cutting down on my desired net volume... Quote On 6/30/2011 at 1:11 AM, 'Ray' said: Acoustical energy is free. Electrical energy is not. fmedina
Have the port in the front towards the side having 3 common port walls..
Cashdollar2009
Have the port in the front towards the side having 3 common port walls.. Are you looking at my picture dude? Sub AND Port are firing forward. My trim is blocking the top corner of my port. Which is the reason I made this thread. lolz If I were to just build the port in the middle or use less than 3 common port walls, the mdf displacement would take up too much net volume... OrionStang
Flare the port and you will be fine. I really don't see that little corner covered up being that big an issue, but rounding the port exit on the side closest to the sub will help. TeamHT
I honestly would modify the rear deck so that the box fit perfect. I'm more of a metal fab guy anyway Quote Tell me...does this smell like chloroform to you?
