Kevin M
lookin good! Thank you Nice work man. Looking good Thank you Im diggin it. Nice doors haha I have something even bigger planned for them this summer. nice man, ive been away from youtube way too long I try to check it regularly, but we are in the "off season" so alot of people here up north don't post too much. The cold has my hands shackled. Hey slacker, since you're not going to do it I guess I will. I was nervous about putting that video up on here. kinda embarrassed. hehe It is far from done and far from pretty right now. I can see the finished product in my head; it's the getting there I am having trouble with. lol I put the subs back in and definitely noticed a difference. I still have to find some way of making it pretty with all my jacked up cuts. The weather is making that difficult to say the least. I guess I shouldn't let it bother me considering I've never built a wall before. I have another couple of weeks before I get the compression drivers for my horns. I'm also looking into getting some new midbass speakers. I was going to go with dual 8" but I think I will do a single 12" instead. Here is a link to the driver I want to use. http://www.parts-express.com/pe/showdetl.cfm?Partnumber=264-334 I think they will match up to the horns a little better. They have a higher sensitivity and more cone area. I've spent the last few hours looking for pictures of similar installs but no luck so far. Most people think a 10" is insane. Maybe i'll make a thread to see if anyone is running them. 2005 Ford Focus zx4 AMT's and Planars 18" Infinite baffle
Kevin M
Just got the wall carpeted today. Still one musketeer short. I am going to get the compression horns for the Image Dynamic horn lenses on the first. Then I'll make another video of the instillation and a couple first impressions on what they sound like. In the meantime there is a vid to go with this picture that is on the editing floor as we speak. More later. 2005 Ford Focus zx4 AMT's and Planars 18" Infinite baffle

Kevin M
Carpet looks good! Thx bro. It came out pretty good. Well have to see how the rear doors finish out. I thought about sanding them and spray painting them with textured paint. The carpet may be too thick. Well have to see. 2005 Ford Focus zx4 AMT's and Planars 18" Infinite baffle

Kevin M
the project is coming along REAL nice!! you put some serious work into those panels!! i like! Thx Steve. They took hours and hours of sanding. I'm putting a 12" in the doors in a couple months. That will give me a chance to do an even better job. My original plan was to build the trim around the wall like Boilermakers truck. That looked awesome. I just wasn't sure how to do it. The rear doors are a little tougher due to a couple clearance issues but with a little work I'll be able to knock it out. I wish I had a California winter. lol i agree 100% with steve carpet those doors it will look sick as hell and the wall looks awesome think about porting it to 30-35hz it will be soooo much louder and shouldnt be much work at all no matter what great job bro It will be a sealed wall. Once I get a third sub and 3 mbquart 1500.1's (ran at 4 ohms); it will be plenty loud enough. It will only have 7 speakers, all active, time alignment R+L 1/3 octave eq's. Here are the processors that will go into the car... Active x-over http://www.parts-express.com/pe/showdetl.cfm?Partnumber=248-669 and the matching EQ http://www.parts-express.com/pe/showdetl.cfm?Partnumber=248-661 I found a website that makes an ac to dc conversion kit for each. It's serious overkill but this will give me total control over the system. It will be an sql system for sure. In a couple days I'll get the compression drivers and mount the horns. That will change everything. The whole system will be under 2600 watts. I still have to upgrade the electrical and build a battery bank so the processors will have to wait for the moment. The plan is to use a group 31 under the hood and 6-8 d375's. They are so cheap I can add a couple batteries at a time and it will give me the opportunity to get upgrade in the future if I want to. 2005 Ford Focus zx4 AMT's and Planars 18" Infinite baffle
