How much electrical back up do i have to have with 2500 watts?

Recommended Posts

Well i also want good electrical so i guess i would pay for two batteries one up front and one in back just more stress on my alt though?

Maybe it depends on the amperage of your stock alternator.

He said he wants his voltage in the 13-14's. With what I recommended he will be good to go =)

im not trying to shoot you down, but i will state again that i have seen a 2200d wired to half ohm and i will quote what the owner said, "i had a voltmeter in my factory cluster, its got a line for 14v and never strayed to far off that" "maybe like 13v" "redtop and 1/0 power and ground"

Maybe i need to get a yellow top and big three and then add the 2nd battery and get a volt meter and see from there

What is considered low volts? under 12v?

You know how you avoid that? Man the fuck up and bang her best friend sister mom cousin worst enemy and never look back.

i personally consider low voltage to be anything under 12.

Well my audiopipe didnt go into protect mode... She started smoking in the back

mine did the same thing. just went up in flames.

Really? in flames? When i was driving i felt like i was playing call of duty and someone throw a smokescreen in my car...

I agree with kranny and others. I had the AQ2200D with a xs power D2400 and a d975 in back and never had a prob at all.Never dropped below 13.9. Other difference was i had a 220amp alt only because i use to be around 3000 watts with old set-up
