Which DC Subs

Recommended Posts

Im doing a trunk build on probably 2k rms depending on which subs i choose and i wanna go with DC as my next sub company ..

Im thinking about doing one of the options below:

4 8" level 2

3 10" level 3

2 12" level 3

Its going to be a nice budget build so what would you guys recommend? what would get the loudest on that power?

Thanks,

Dom

3 10" Level 3's have the most cone area and possibly motor force, I would do either option 1 or 2 as they are more uncommon than the standard pair of 12's.

x3. Go with the 3 10's. There's no replacement for displacement.

I just replied to your pm. For what you are wanting to do I would go with the 3 Level 3 10s on a 2k. They will handle the 2k just fine.

Yeah i got the pm, thanks alot for the response.

Do you think i could hit my target of 140db with those 3 10s? on 2k?

just a wild guess

The DC site says level 3's are 600 watts RMS and 1200 watts peak. I would say you should be ok running 850 RMS IF your smart about it. Hows your electrical?
