I try to be as correct about stuff as I can, as I know there are a lot of car audio myths out there. I hate hearing things about car audio that is completely wrong and that. I had one guy come in wanting us to fix his install, he had no fuse, the amp was grounded to the trunk by about 2 threads of wire, and I couldn't believe it. I really am not into vans, but I got a good deal from my dad last year on it, happens to be a comfy ride!! But eats gas a little worse then I would like. The main reason I bought this Van (Being my First Vehicle) was to put subwoofers in it. I ordered the subs and amp the same night that I bought the van! I was originally inspired by the Logitech z-5500 due to is awesome 10" Subwoofer, and it grew from there for my love of bass and SQ. I slowly started watching bass videos like exocontralto and SteveMeade, and they inspired me to start building my own system and to do my own work. My Favorite part of this all is having the ability to do whatever I want and have a lot of fun doing it. It is very rewarding when you do something that everyone goes crazy about. When I pull up to work I shake the TV's that are on our heat wall at Best Buy, and Everyone knows who just got to work. On Black Friday someone attempted to rob me while I was at work, going for my Kicker ZX2500.1 which isn't exactly a cheap amp. Luckily my Viper 5902 Saved me and let me know. Keep up the good work, and remember, gotta keep on "Livin' Loud" Thanks, Yea, my van is much newer then his, but he also has 18's which are awesome, ha ha, also for the amp, I am totally willing for the right price PM me about it if you want, I got pics of the inside of that amp too kicker uses some awesome red circuit boards, some people dont care for kicker, I really like there stuff, they make solid solid amps, and really nice mids. Sub wise, you really have to have the right box for them, but that is the same with any other sub, funny too, I was just looking at your pt cruiser build Pictures!! Thats one big Fuse!! Outside View! I have CVRs for being cheaper subs they rattle my neighbors windows haha and I have a old school Rockford punch 500 amp on them. mysticalillusionscaraudio Posted March 11, 2011 Report Share Posted March 11, 2011 man i love kicker subs, never tried their amps but hey one day i will. i have only had one issue with a kicker product that was when i bought 4- 10"s kicker comp vr's from circuit city they kept blowing up on me.. then circuit city went out of business and i lost my warranty.. but before then back in 2000 i had 4 other comp vr's hooked up too a 2500 watt planet audio amp and it pounded!! i bet the shit out them subs.. it was just the circuit city ones i hated but i do love the sounds of a good kicker. i want 4 15's if i can get them... maybe one day "if its too loud, you're too old!!"e-mail me!!!
