Makes it stronger without having to back it up with cloth. We only poured resin around that one edge, without any mat because he only had a real thick mat that would have required a ton of sanding. Might do some resin with that filler on the other edges before going full power. Looks great, should be a solid enclosure. Yep, he's doing a great job.
