OrionStang
Did you have the alt whine when you first got the sundown hooked up?? Nope, sounded great this morning. Also there was no noise when I hooked up the 1.2k to check the rca's. Gotta be an issue with the deck. SMD Super Seller My Feedback Thread
sprkn_ranger
That's weird it went away when you swapped amps then it came back. Is it just as bad as the leviathan was? scooter99
Are your RCA's grounded to the back of the deck? That sometimes helps. Facebook Page: S99Creations 2006 F250 Lariat Build
OrionStang
Are your RCA's grounded to the back of the deck? That sometimes helps. No, but i've had this deck in for over a year with no problem like this. I'm gonna try it, but I don't think thats it. scooter99
Ok. Couldn't hurt, but if you haven't had it done and haven't had a problem till now, it's probably not it. Facebook Page: S99Creations 2006 F250 Lariat Build
OrionStang
Yeah its def coming in through the rca's and its not the cables themselves, so it has to be an internal deck issue. I just hope my amps aren't damaged from whatever the deck has done. Could a surge happen through an rca and cause damage to an amp?
