OrionStang Posted September 4, 2011 Author Report Posted September 4, 2011 I'm bored with homework, so I went out and did a couple small things. First, I finally mounted my bass knob, its been sitting in the cup holder long enough lol. And yes, I drilled another hole to run the wire. Before Now Then, found a place for my voltmeter. Not hooked up all the way yet. I need wire to run back to the amp. Also discovered I'm only charging at 14.1 SMD Super Seller My Feedback Thread
OrionStang Posted September 5, 2011 Author Report Posted September 5, 2011 Hooked up the voltmeter. I'm concerned about the idle voltage. It was at 14.1 early today when the car was cool. Now that its warmed up, it sits at 13.8-13.9. Good news is it only drops to 13-13.1 full tilt with the lights, fogs, max a/c, and defroster all on. SMD Super Seller My Feedback Thread

Blue Posted September 5, 2011 Report Posted September 5, 2011 Did you use a DMM to re-adjust the volt meter properly? formerly known as Blue86f150 its a 4th order just because its tuned in the 40z doesnt mean it wont reach down and jiggle your balls at sub 30 hz frequencies. Regardless if they were dipped platinum and were stuffed in Beyonce's twat.....way too fucking exspensive this sux camel dicks

Blue Posted September 5, 2011 Report Posted September 5, 2011 Hm, that seems way to low for the DC alt. maybe the ford computer is just over riding it so it can go above 14.x volts. Most likely the case though. formerly known as Blue86f150 its a 4th order just because its tuned in the 40z doesnt mean it wont reach down and jiggle your balls at sub 30 hz frequencies. IH8PunkRok Posted September 5, 2011 Report Posted September 5, 2011 i see 13.8 all the time and i dont get why my idle voltage is 14.6 What? i see peoples cars charging at 13.8 like yours. no idea why because mine charges at 14.6 what kind of extra battery power do you have? i noticed that with only a highs amp and an extra battery my voltage rested down in the low 14s. i figured that it had to do with the alt having a very minimal load on it so it wouldnt charge as much i could be way off though. probably am -Matt2005 Dodge Magnum RTJVC KD-AVX1 2 PPI S580.2 Obsidian Audio ST1 Horn Tweeters PRV 8MB450s Audio Legion 3500.1D 2 RE MT 18s 360 ah LiFePO4 BatterySHCA 2/0 155.2 @ 29 hzKicker CVR 15's buildDD 3512e buildMini T-Line Build(6) 8s BuildNightshade 15s Wall BuildMagnum AB XFL 12s BuildNewest Magnum Build
