LOL, we had no choice. The mounting ring for my sub is 14", so the box will be 14.25 high. I just hope the car isn't structurally weakened too much. I need to get to a welder.

Nice to see the cutting has started and your amp is otw. I hope that u didn't lose too much integrity. If I was to guess I would say u lost about 15%. But build looks like its going to change ur car.

its going to get reinforcement welded back in place. Just don't want something bad to happen before I get to a welder.

If you weld a horizontal reinforcement you will be fine. Kinda like boxing in a frame, is that what you have in mind?
