guimond47 Posted March 12, 2011 Report Posted March 12, 2011 I have a hifonics Brutus brz 2100.1d and i wanted to know if while its running my voltage is down to 12 volts how much rms wattage am i really getting for it. Its 2100 rms at 1ohm cea compliant at 14.4 volts. im running it at 1.3 ohms and when its blasted voltage drops to about 12 volts. So in conclusion does anyone know how many watts am truelly getting? Orion 2500D , 2-10" alpine type X. Custom enclosure,Alpine amp for mids and highs.Working on a center channel ATM

Guest Posted March 12, 2011 Report Posted March 12, 2011 i would x2 that, prove us wrong. maxxsonics said THEMSELVES that their brutus amps output 18% less power PER VOLT from 14.4 LOST. 12.4v is 1300w. and you said so yourself you're wired to 1.3. and its impossible for you to have no box rise so you will be at about 2 ohms IF YOURE LUCKY. so yes around 500-600w is a VERY good estimate. i wouldnt doubt ray or skittles. they both (along with me probably) have more experience than you.
