How many watts am i actually getting from my amp?

Recommended Posts

If you want 2k daily, then buy a 5kw amp..lol

No need to get caught up in the number game.

If your sub is 2k rms ...I would buy a 3k rms amp.

Do your best to hold voltage, and just forget all about rise.

Take it from a lot of us.......its just a headache trying to battle rise.

Its wayyyyyyyyy, easier and cheaper to just buy a little bigger amp..lol

If I answered you in a well mannered, informative way, you asked a good question or had a good attitude. If I was an asshole, you asked a stupid question or you had a fucktard attitude... or I was in a bad mood.

If you really really want 2000 watts then just smash the gain up until the wave gets all square and ugly.

You'll get your 2000 joules per second but they won't necessarily be useful ones...

well that all depends on what you want to do. if you want to start a fire, melt a little copper, give your car a funny smell for weeks... this might be useful.
