StreetSlappah
So after hooking up my system my xls are very hungry the aq3500.1 is not enough for both. So what should I do? I'm going be buying a DC power alt pretty soon but should I stay with this setup or should I sell the subs and get lvl4s or get 1 15" lvl5 (would have to buy another box)? I already have my box which is for 2 12s so keep that in mind. I'm guessing by getting my alt I should see more Watts but will it be enough? Also my box is 3.2ft^3 after displacements and has 14in^2 of port and tuned to 32hz. Quote Refs-(b.f.) 99vic, WCA Rusty(x3) Nathan@XSPOWER, Ampjunkielikeme, Bread0710, AmiCreations (s.t.) trulywickedcustoms
IMO id save for anther amp.... But your electrical needs to be beefed up first tho... So do the alt and a battery or 2 and then start saving for anthr amp... I'd stick with the XLs bc they are beast... Blackedout
See what your clamped power is. You may be getting a ton of rise. If you have minimal rise, maybe its time for a slightly bigger box. Edited March 17, 2011 by Blackedout Quote Trunk Build Log
