akrja_07 Posted March 22, 2011 Report Posted March 22, 2011 i drive a 93 Honda Accord which has an 80 amp alternator stock, I need something larger because even with the radio off, if I have my lights, A/C, and brakes on at the same time I drop to 11.99 volts. i need some help choosing which to buy. I really wanted DC or Mech but neither of them make anything for my car. All I can really come up with is this one I found through Google 160 amp $295 My link And these from eBay My link My link All I know is anything should be better than my stock 80... What should I do? If we actually broke out the numbers all the way, all the different alternators we build, in all the amperages, for all of the applications the actual number of sku's would be well into the millions... My application database alone has 75k lines and 13 cells... Just sayin is all...
TeamHT Posted March 25, 2011 Report Posted March 25, 2011 I believe the sites normally say to call anyways if an item was listed for a specific application, or they used to the last time I was looking for alternators. Tell me...does this smell like chloroform to you?
