hibatch Posted March 22, 2011 Report Posted March 22, 2011 Hey guys, I have a Kicker 750.1 that i got from a friend. He said it worked fine when he had it but now that i have it its not (i think he lied sob). I hooked it up just like i had my infinity amp (that works fine on my sub), Ive swapped both out multiple times and the infinity works but the Kicker wont. When the kicker is hooked up it powers on with the green light and stays on but I get no power to the subs. I made sure the RCA's, and wires to sub were hooked up correctly and they were. any ideas of what the prob may be? hibatch Posted March 22, 2011 Author Report Posted March 22, 2011 the RCA's are connected to the input, would the master/slave be inside the amp on the board like on a computer? there is no master/slave on the outside. Superjay Posted March 22, 2011 Report Posted March 22, 2011 no it wouldn't...pull the amp and bench test it...just to be sure there aren't any anomalies the Infinity performed around, but the Kicker doesn't like. I have a 2 10 kicker cvx's one is dual 2 ohm and one is dual 4 ohm. right now im only using the dual 4 ohm. im trying to trade or sell the dual 2 ohm. im wiring the 4 ohm down to 2 ohms. dthomas Posted March 24, 2011 Report Posted March 24, 2011 Sounds to me like the amp has problems. You have already tried 2 other amps that work fine, so you obviously have Power,Ground, Turn on and Signal.
